I went to a naturopath to have some extensive bloodwork done. My thoughts were perhaps there is an underlying problem with my blood causing me to have had breast cancer at age 45 and MS at age 53.
Although I take 2,000 of D3 with K2, my serum D level is 45, which this lab reads as deficient (my other lab reads this as acceptable). I’m in the sun often.
I also came up with a copper deficiency. Is there anyone who takes supplemental copper with or without zinc? The naturopath recommended taking two mg of copper with zinc for a month then add high copper foods to my diet.
Thoughts? Please & thank you

You might research this a bit more. I read once that zinc is often in excess in true copper deficiency, which is a very rare condition. How was your MS diagnosed?
Breast cancer in middle-aged women is not that uncommon. Have you had your family history checked? Did they genotype you? I got my MS when I was in my early 30s but the neuro said it was always there, just waiting for the right time to appear. He told me to stay out of the sun, that heat on my head was dangerous, what brought my symptoms to the fore. I know the sun is good re vitamin D, but maybe too much sun is not good for your MS, and you're taking supplements too? A naturopath...is that a licensed physician?
Yes on the family history- we don’t have it in our family. I’ve had two genetic tests done about 8 years apart. Yes, I’ve taken vitamin D supplements since I was diagnosed with breast cancer 10 year ago, but I may not be taking enough- MS does run in my family & I wonder if we have a problem with vitamin D absorption? The naturopath I went to is a medical doctor & testing I had done was from a legitimate laboratory. All good points.
Neuropathy...lesions, balance... ms symptoms that can be explained by copper deficiency. Maybe it will help? As long as it's not dangerous, may as well try. Vitamin D malabsorption apparently can be caused a handful of problems. You're better off getting advice from your doctors than your peers.
