So reading about proxeed made me wonder if my OH is on the best supplement. Made me question should he be on proxeed instead. He's currently on superdrugs male fertility sachets. I'm finding it hard to gauge which offers best vitamins and minerals.

Proxxed ingredients are per sachet. Superdrugs are per 2 sachets. Attached is superdrugs ingredients. Thoughts?

Proxxed seems to have

90mg vitamin c

Zinc 10mg

Folic acid 200mcg

Selenium 50mcg

Vitamin B12 1.5 mcg

20mg coq10

L'carnitine 1.7g

Confused which is best

Significant difference in price

Hi, I have no experience of the superdrug ones. However my husband took Proxeed and Wellman fertility and it helped us with our ivf cycle. My husbands results had improved greatly so much so the clinic would have recommended IVF instead of going for ICSI ( had already paid for this however) Wishing you all the best xx

Wow these are really similar aren’t they!! I have no experience with proxeed, my hubby is taking fertilix which is also pricey 😬. But presuming your list for proxeed is complete then the Superdrug ones are an almost equal offering which if far cheaper is a great alternative. Personally I believe the quality differences in supplements are marginal and not worth the added expense, but that’s just me. I’m going to see if fertilix has a cheaper alternative!!

Thank you. My biggest challenge is getting the OH to take two a day. I'm lucky if he takes one! X

haha so funny. Mix it with fruit juice for him, that might help him take it.

My husband is currently taking Proxeed and has been for a few months now. Based on reviews I thought it was the best one to try. I’m not sure whether it’s working yet but thought it was worth a good try! Good luck!xxx

Is proxeed defo 1 a day? May have more luck with oh taking them then if its only 1. He barely takes the ones he has now 😡

Ah no, it’s two sachets a day. I leave everything my husband has to take on the kitchen work bench. It doesn’t look great but it’s a reminder! I’ve also got him on smoothies with walnuts in- they are suppose to help too. Without another SA we won’t know how well they are working! Fingers crossed!xxx

My OH couldn’t take proxseed due to iron so he had to take them all separately so he rattled! Bless.

Our consultant said to add Omega 3 too. If you can get him to take another it seemed to make a difference 🙂

No experience with that stuff I'm afraid, but we had MFI - azoospermia, failed first round IVF because of very poor sperm quality. Dr told partner not to bother using supplements but ignored him and used menevit, pricey! But so worth it! Sperm quality 2nd TESE was much better and even came away with embryos

My OH is having none of it. He told me he's not taking them and is sick of having supplement pushed on him. 😔

We both took the Wellwomen/ Wellman conception pack supplements. OH's sperm REALLY improved. I also bought him some new pants around the same time, so not sure which had the most impact?! lol

My oh was on wellman too but I have a hard time getting him to take anything. It gets me down when he doesnt take them. I'm taking everything under the sun. We have male factor infertility due to VR. he has 2 kids previous relationship and I have none. 😔

My OH would forget to take them if I didn't put it on the table at the same time that I gave him his dinner! It annoys me too that I'm rattling with vitamins, supplements and a walking pin cushion with the amount of injections, but I honestly don't think that they do it on purpose... they just forget. I've also started doing my injections in front of him, because if I do it away, he does forget what I'm going through and this is a helpful reminder!
