Undiagnosed as yet
Hi, I am a mid 50’s female and diagnosed from childhood with asthma that became brittle asthma from my 40’s. I was under a specialist centre 9 years ago when I was in and out of hospital every 2 weeks for 6 months with only being able to take small breaths. It feels like there is a concrete bandage tightly

Falling b12
Hi, I’m. A bit concerned about falling b12 levels as I thought they we had stores that lasted years. In June 18 I had a raft of tests that showed b12 at 159, so right on the bottom of the UK “normal” range. intrinsic factor antibodies test which came back at 2.7 (0-6) parietal cell antibodies test

Vitamins which ones to take and when?
So I was diagnosed with hashimotos in feb, gp gave me selenium trial pack to take and also my 100mcg thyroxine. I take my thyroxine first thing with water and wait normal 40-60 mind before coffee or eating. I've since read up that zinc is also important and was wondering if I should add that to the selenium

Struggling and needing advice on NDT
Hi all, I'm pretty new here - I was diagnosed as hypothyroid about 8 months ago after a private blood test showed my T4 level raised to 11.5, low Vitamin D & B12. I had my bloods done because I was so exhausted and so changed from my usual energetic self I thought I had cancer. My GP initially dismissed

Help for itchy, dry skin.
My skin has always been very dry, but has changed over previous months, feeling much more dry and uncomfortable with patches of eczema developing. (Am hypothyroid). On friend's recommendation have been using Equimins Udder Cream - 1 kg Tub - Eqs0367. It's actually for horses but is a non-greasy

Hi everyone, it’s a very long time since I last posted. I have managed to get down to 4.5mg Pred for my PMRGCA with a few stresses on the way when I had to pause for a while. My iron levels were down a bit recently so my GP put me on 200mg Ferrous Sulfate 1 daily and after a few weeks my iron levels
