Supplements and checking levels
I'm 34 and currently on 125 levo which I take at nighttime. I had some recent tests and found that my levels were low/ low in range for a number of vitamins and minerals, so I am now supplementing with the following: At breakfast - B Complex, D3 1000IU (I was on a higher dose but my levels have increased

Can anyone help got some blood results but struggling to get any help!
Hi, I saw a locum doctor at my GP practice (over year and half ago) who diagnosed under-active thyroid as I had 3 blood tests which were under the lower level slightly. Since then I have had to argue to get blood test and asked for full thyroid test but given me the results just for TSH, she also did

Hi Folks, your advice would be really appreciated as I haven't a clue what's going on. I've had the most peculiar last few weeks - I started T3 at the end of March 25mcg with 100/125mcg T4, this seemed to be fine - aches and pains largely gone, exzema on shins gone, more energy, concentration and brain

Good grief I'm so paranoid
Long time no see! So I've been holed up in my broke, e-book writing madness ridden self. I felt like I was making progress up until today! I began this insane sounding thing after finding out about candida etc. Basically you spend about 3 days each week eating nothing but potatoes with a little oil

Hi, I'm new and struggling
I am hypothyroid and feeling unwell with very low energy. My weight is slowly creeping up, I have gone from 8 stone to 8.12 in 2-3 months. I asked my doc for a copy of my recent bloods and I can't make much sense of it... he tells me that I am fine and that it is a psychological problem which I know

Dry tongue and soapy taste, sore mouth
Just over the last few days I have had this soapy taste in my mouth, its been very odd, but ignored it as thought it was my toothpaste which I haven't changed. My mouth has been sore inside the lower lips for about a month but I do get this from time to time. Now my tongue is feeling very dry today

PA and homozygous MTHFR C667T - Treating with methylcobalamin
Hi just wondering for those using methylcobalamin to treat their PA and have this gene mutation, how often do you receive your methyl dose? Drs have been treating me with hydroxocobalamin for 4 months but has done nothing due to my methylation problems from this gene mutation. Found Integrative GP

Help Please - need to sort out Adrenal supplement and Thyroid meds!
I have been on Levo for over 21 years, (100mcg), but recently, (don't know whether the menopause has "kick started" anything, am 57), have been feeling more tired, and the "brain fog" is worse. I was diagnosed with "Fibromyalgia" in 2009, and so they say that's why I am tired. I started

Post test results for Ezetrol 10 mg
I promised my partner, my heart specialist to test this product in order to lower my supposedly high cholesterol (total chol. 7,74; HDL :1,66; LDLc: 5,4; Tri.:1,49 mmol) . As I couldn't put up with terrible cramp with Atorvastine I was to try the Ezetrol, so I did a 2 month trial. This is what happened

Trial of Levothyroxine
Well, I followed my action plan and went to see my GP yesterday for the result of the scan on my neck. The GP said it had come back normal, so the previous GP who suspected a Goitre was wrong, I had asked previously for a trial of Levo but this doc said to wait until after the scan. I asked if I could

My husband went extra feral and I was not far behind
The big unpack and apres Glastonbury mud removal, and festive dust and slime eradication, has come to an end. I had a very exciting adventure with my fab husband and family, plus many many friends, having not been for two years. Last year was the height of school fuss and also my health problems

What now...any ideas?
Ok return of the crazies ;) So I stopped taking t3 and am now taking magnesium, vit c, b vits, iodine, probiotics, selenium and zinc. I took my temperature and found it is low (35.8 - 36.4 C) despite my feeling too hot all the time? After finding stuff about raising temps via t3 I figured I would
