I have graves and was told to avoid zinc in my medications I,m not sure if this is correct any advice would be greatfull

Hi Frian,

I have Graves, and I have always taken 1000mg Vit C withZinc with no ill effects.

thanks arab I cant take vit C get tummy problems can I take zinc on its own ? is it in tablet form

I buy the effervescent Vit C with Zinc, and I find that easier to take - and washes down all the other supplements as well!

Boots Chemist will do this, or any larger supermarket.

Zinc you can buy on its own or it's often included ( check the label) in any good multivitamin with minerals.
