Well , we are all guilty of getting on with things, when confronted with the wall of trying to get referrals to our own doctors, bloods let alone see Rheumatology! I’ve all but forgotten where my clinic was moved too but out of the blue! I received an email from Rheumatology asking if I could complete an online questionnaire to assess my treatment and conditions. I duly completed said questionnaire getting thrown out a few times and needing to input all the information again so frustrating 😡 however, I persevered and added how I was feeling. Totally abandoned I know my Lupus has got worse. I’ve really been struggling and my medication needs tweaking for sure. I need proper blood tests and a face to face consultation! Pain have more painkillers from the GP ! Could I get a referral please? You get that long Welllll… back logs etc try the pain relief first then come back 🙄 and you feel like you’re in Groundhog Day.
Well I’ve got an appointment!!!! In June (this year) so we shall firstly see if this happens as I have had more cancellations letters than new dates or any other correspondence! Over the years!
So look through your emails see if you have a questionnaire that’s gone into your junk folder you may have a questionnaire waiting for you to fill out!
