Flu jab?
Hi guys, Still in the process of having Bird Fancier Lung Disease officially diagnosed (Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis), have my CT scan later today and a lung function test on Monday. However, I'm wondering, does anyone know if I would qualify for a free jab? I'm not fussed to be fair as its not like

Flu Jab 💉💉💉🦠🦠🦠
Hi everyone For those not eligible for the ‘oldies’ flu jab, the ‘young but sicklie’ one is about to be available within the next few weeks 😉. Please remember however if you are going to get it (and please do) be aware of if you should delay it. If you are; overtly unwell/uncontrolled, on a higher dose

Should I have a flu jab?
Diagnosed with Coronary Artery Spasm in August last year and discharged by the cardio at that time. I’ve not seen anyone at all about it since and just have a GTN spray, but no other medication. BP is low normal, cholesterol is within acceptable limits so I guess I may not actually need any other medication

Flu jab? Flare
Hello everyone, I had my flu jab on Saturday. Sunday morning I woke up in terrible pain. The backs of my hands have swollen, preventing me from moving my fingers or flexing my wrists. I took my methotrexate injection yesterday and today I have a little more movement, but the back of my hand is still

Flu Jab results!!!
Had my annual flu jab (shot😁) last week... and I am delighted to report I have zero (0) reaction, consequence, negative results, etc...!!! Just sayin........ Having had the real influenza...This little shot was a mere benign mosquito bite. I know there are still viruses out there...but I feel confident

68-Hour Fast again
I have just completed my regular 68-hour fast. I fit fasts in between scheduled meals - and I have an Age Concern meal alternate Fridays - so I have been fasting every four weeks. Once you have exhausted your glycogen reserves (about 2,000 calories) you can only exercise at the power determined by the

Flecainide and Flu injections.
I am on Flec and want to have a flu jab but I'm terrified of interactions. Can't play around with Flec. Anyone had a flu jab while on Flec?

Flu jab
I am due to have a flu jab on 26th Sept. I have 2 questions about the timing. I have just started a short course of steroids for a cough - 10 days only. I think the cough is the after effects from from primary lung cancer radiotherapy treatment. I take Ibrance and Letrozole for secondary breast

Offered flu jab due to being classed as immunosuppressed with ET... What???
Hi, has anyone else had experience of this? I can't find anything online to suggest that ET makes me immunosuppressed. Yet when I called the doctor's surgery for a repeat prescription today, the receptionist told me I am entitled to free flu jabs and one off pnemococcal jab due to bei g listed as immunosuppressed

Can I get a flu vaccination ?
I have CLL and take Imbruvica. After 10 cycles the Imbruvica produced excellent improvement, near normal range WBC 11, platelets 175 . Question: Can I get a flu vaccination ? If yes, the extra potent ?

Graves and the flu jab.
I have Graves' disease but have been in remission for nearly 3 years now and am generally quite fit and healthy. Last winter I had flu twice and the first time resulted in 7 weeks off work with me feeling like I did when I was hyper and absolutely exhausted. My GP did some blood tests which all came

Flu jab or not? If yes which one?
Just received my invitation to have my flu jab in a couple of weeks. Whilst reading past posts I noticed that some members believe the vaccine could have caused their PMR in the first place. So having been diagnosed in January this year should I have the jab and should it contain adjuvants? I’m feeling
