Yasmin

Hey, I’ve just started taking Yasmin in a bid to try and reduce the endometriosis pains and PMDD … so far I’ve been very nauseous with really bad tummy aches … does anyone have any experiences to share on taking Yasmin and whether it helped at all? xx

Shes on cocodamol for pain, mefenamic acid and Tranexamic and put on yasmin pill to try and help- but nothing does. Now shes sick everyday. Shes still in school and taking exams at the present time but since xmas shes been so ill with this some days unable to walk due to pain.

So far I’ve tried Yasmin and Millinette and both have led to low mood and severe anxiety. I only took Yasmin for a week and persevered with Millinet for 3/4 weeks. I’m hoping to run pills back to back to prevent bleeding.

I was given a couple of options - take norethisterone alongside the current pill (yasmin) I'm on, stop yasmin and go on a progesterone only pill, or just take norethisterone. I was rather thrown by my GP - I didn't know how much to push back.

Hello everyone I am in desperate with some help, I'm hoping the knowledgeable people are able to. Up to 2 months ago I was taking LDN along with Adrenavive 11 daily, including not eating certain foods that were causing my brain foggy. However, pre surgery I was dealing with random bleeding and post surgery it was the same so 3 weeks ago, my consultant changed me from Provera to Yasmin. In the past week, I’ve noticed the bleeding getting heavier and my pain has gotten worse - almost like it was pre surgery.

The coach talked much more than Yasmin Evans, but I do miss her already. However, the talking helped me focus more on what she was saying and less on how far I had to run.

I take Yasmin contraception but take this at night. I’m feeling so fed up and upset that I’ve made absolutely no progress with my levels. Is it worth asking to double my dose? Be referred somewhere? Should I change how I take my levo? Grateful for any insight from anyone.

I just finished my first pack of pills (Yasmin) and I have been bleeding 13 days now it started 3 days after my period I take them every day in 3pm sometimes I take them at 3:15, 3:30 or maybe 4pm only one time I forgot and took in 7pm is this normal to bleed this much ?

Hi Yasmin I started taking hydroxycarbamide just over 3 years ago after being diagnosed with essential Thrombocythemia. I started on 5 x500mg per week and now take 8x500mg as my platelets have gone up. I have been lucky with side effects and feel my worst issue has been nausea and fatigue.

Symptoms were controlled quite well taking back to back Yasmin, but new GP recommended taking a 4-day break between every 3 packs, which has led to a flare up and heavy bleeding on and off ) Also, as its not licenced as a contraceptive, does anyone have experience with using it and something non-hormonal

I used the app so I still had Yasmin Evans talking me through it. It went well but I still found the end bit quite hard. Guess it will be a while before a 30 minute run is super easy!

This co-incided with coming off Yasmin so it’s possible that that was the trigger rather than a thyroid issue? I wouldn’t say it’s severe but it’s still getting worse.

Has anyone tried Yasmin, Yaz or Qlaira? What do I do if I can’t find a hormonal treatment to suit? My pain came back within a short time after surgery and the pill hasn’t helped much anyway. I refuse to have the coil again and don’t want the implant for the same reason.
