Combined pill severely affecting mood

Hi there,

I am trying to find a combined pill which doesn’t severely affect my mood - any advice?

So far I’ve tried Yasmin and Millinette and both have led to low mood and severe anxiety. I only took Yasmin for a week and persevered with Millinet for 3/4 weeks.

I’m hoping to run pills back to back to prevent bleeding. I’ve got an appointment with the GP soon and would like to be able to suggest a different pill to try.

I'm the same with combined pills. Have you tried progesterone only? Think it's better for helping to prevent endo progressing. I'll be requesting to try bio identical progesterone at my next appointment.

I haven’t tried progesterone only, but it was on my radar. I’ll discuss with the GP. What is bio identical progesterone?

Just progesterone that mimics what is produced in the body instead of synthetic. More natural and easier on the body I assume. Good luck with finding the right pill!

GP should only offer you progesterone only pill if you have endo. Combination pill makes the endo grow.
