Did you take Xtandi after surgery?
My husband has taken
Xtandi
& Lypron for 8 mos then last month had his prostate removed (also has mets to the back). Did anyone continue these medications after surgery?

Zytiga vs Xtandi
I am sure Zytiga is causing my Lymphopenia (recent test 361 cells/uL), so is
Xtandi
an option for replacement. I am also on Lupron. Other than Lymphopenia I don't seem to have any side effects that I can't handle and I feel relatively good.

By way of introduction...
Started 3-mo Lupron/
Xtandi
therapy. Progress PET scheduled October 2020. Genetic testing identified PIK3CA as probably driver. 100% UI/ED. This is high risk disease with distant metastisis and unresponsive PSA indicator, meaning almost total reliance on imaging.

After Zytiga & Extandi....?
Besides increasing the
Xtandi
(Rob nor the doctor feel he will be able to handle it at a higher dose.), what other treatment options would you suggest? Thanking you and praying for your safe keeping and good health during our present Covid crisis.

Question about xtandi response during initial treatment :)
Is there an initial flare of ALP from starting
xtandi
? And if the PSA drops after
xtandi
, does it mean that it’s a hormone-sensitive cancer? Thank you guys so much - Mary

$200 for you! Patient research for metastatic stage 4 prostate cancer (aka MPC)
This research is for men with MPC whose disease progressed after hormonal treatment (Zytiga,
Xtandi
, etc) and received chemotherapy. It's very easy to participate in. It's one call with one moderator talking about your experience.

Vertigo
Started
Xtandi
8 months ago. I know
Xtandi
can cause seizures, but I think that would have shown up before now. Still working at 68 yo and in good health as far as my doctors and I know. It doesn't happen often, but often enough to notice.

How about a Foundation One Genomic blood or tumor test; Pending results of my next 06/08 CT/NM bone scan results??
May be able to throw in AR-V7 Gene Splices--which can indicate effectiveness of
Xtandi
, and Zytiga, My reasoning is: I’m having my 2nd set of CT scans Pelvis, Abs, Chest and NM total body bone Scan June 8th one week from Monday.

If casodex switches to feeding PCA
If casodex switched to feeding PCA would not
XTANDI
do the same thing since they are similiar drugs?

Xtandi not working?
Started
Xtandi
a month ago after my PSA went to 8.3 almost a year after radiation and Lupron every three months also started casodex prior to
Xtandi
. Had second opinion from another Oncologist and said this was the right course to take and suggested have PSA in a month.

Followers have been checking in on me...I'm STILL here!!! and so is my food! Pasta with chicken breast and peas in a creamy sauce
Doctor says this is a GOOD result...just going to be staying the course with Lupron and
Xtandi
...and I get to drop the Xgeva...ALREADY after two months off my bone pain is almost completely gone. She's mentioned "ball removal" and I'm thinking about it.

Round 3 of docetaxal June 4th. I almost dont want it to end.
Rad prostectomy 2016, 37 sessions rad 2017 zytiga lupron 2018 to 2019 stopped PSA soared, then
xtandi
and lupron stopped within a couple months. Currently cruising into round 3 of docetaxal 5 bone Mets detected that prompted chemo decision, L3 zapped by rad 6 months ago.

In need of advise for my father
He immediately had bi-lateral orchiectomy, and thereafter when the PSA began to rise, he was prescribed
Xtandi
(lasted ~6 months) and subsequently had some radiotherapy to the pelvis and spine (pain management). The pain returned and the MO suggested Docetaxel.

NHS releases enzalutamide - questions
For metastatic hormone sensitive disease NHS has decided to fund Enzalutamide (
xtandi
) for those who cant have chemo due to virus. Husband about to start tx next week if bloods come up ok. My question is about drug interactions. Anyone had issues with
xtandi
and statins, ramipril, lanzoprazole?

Yes, we are more at risk from Covid-19.
Appears we certainly are. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-8312771/Male-coronavirus-patients-low-testosterone-levels-likely-die-COVID-19.html BTW, PSA last week while on
Xtandi
was .65, down from .88 in March. Still winning! Pat

Genomic and genetic testing
Husband currently on
xtandi
and ADT but down the line this might be useful so good to be prepared! Has anyone any knowledge of how/where to get this done in the UK? Our MO is dismissive because the NHS do not provide this testing , or any tx that might follow from it, outside trials.

xtandi
and now the chemo docetaxal road.
