Zytiga vs Xtandi

I am sure Zytiga is causing my Lymphopenia (recent test 361 cells/uL), so is Xtandi an option for replacement. I am also on Lupron. Other than Lymphopenia I don't seem to have any side effects that I can't handle and I feel relatively good. So my question before asking my MO, is it better to stay on Zytiga and accept the Lymphopenia for the duration until 10/2021 (which is when they stop meds and see what happens) or should I try switching to Ezalutamide or even docetaxel to see if my WBC's recover? Opinions please ?

If your BP and potassium are fine, you can discuss cutting prednisone dose in half.

Thanks TA. Not sure I am being tested for BP (sorry but have to ask what is it?). Frankly everything accept WBC(lymphocytes specifically) , RBC , HGB HCT on my CBC are in normal ranges. Potassium is fine. Currently at 5mg prednisone once a day per recommended dosage, so you think I should ask my MO to change to 2.5mg once daily?

BP=blood pressure

Ask him - or maybe split the prednisone - 2.5 in the AM, 2.5 in the PM- and see if that changes anything.

Thanks for clarifying I take my BP every morning and sometimes in afternoon and is normally around 110/70. I will discuss this with my MO. Thank you very much as it seems very sensible thing to do to start.

I added Xtandi today to my failing Lupron. It was my understanding that I could have opted for Zytiga instead?

Thank you. I am currently on Zytiga and it is causing side effects that make me wonder how best to proceed.
