Off label use of Mekinist (Trametinib)
Over next 3 years Provenge, Zytiga,
Xtandi
and Taxotere. By summer 2014 extensive in bone marrow. Xofigo started in Feb 2014. Became anemic and could only be kept alive with monthly blood transfusions. Xofigo stopped in August. PSA over 120. Bills chance of living another 6 months bleak.

What's next after my failure of ARV-110 trial
Next trial is possibly AC225 +
Xtandi
+ Keytruda combo therapy. Trial effectiveness is clearly unknown, and could possibly make me too weak to handle chemo? I have been on more trials than on SOC treatments at this point. No chemo to date.

Axium scan
I've completed Provenge and
Xtandi
so I believe Chemo is next. I'm still open to suggestions if I need to move on to a new treatment. I appreciate all of you and the collection of information I find on this site.

Xofigo starting soon
I’m currently taking
Xtandi
and Zoladex will add 6 treatments of Xofigo starting this week. I appreciate your thoughts. I only have Mets in the bones, but a lot of them. PSA has remained around the .4 to .5 range for the last 6 months It is a blessing to be able to share on this site.

Starting ADT
I had a visit last week with an MO who suggested Lupron plus one of the following to be decided based on my blood tests: Zytiga,
Xtandi
, or Erleada. I will start with Lupron on Tuesday.

I found out it is not sciatica that's bothering me... take a guess what it is...
I have been taking
Xtandi
. Since December. Doc wants to take an obvious biopsy of the hip.

Continue Lupron after continuing PSA rise?
He has had Provenge,
Xtandi
, Dosetaxel, Cabazitaxel and all worked for a good time, but his PSA has been steadily and firmly rising and new bone Mets for the past few months.

Severe pain above the anus and left glute. What could be the reason?
My dad is on
Xtandi
for the last 7 months and he's been tolerating it quite well. His bloodwork is normal and his PSA is 0.04.

Another positive update
While I read her every day just realised that it’s been almost two years since I updated So almost 7 years since the metastatic diagnosis with a PSA in the 100’s , my husband is still pain free, still on Zoladex/
Xtandi
PSA .4 Life is still great Sending love

Phase 3
Brian's 2nd oral medication
Xtandi
stopped working. PSA from the low of .2 to now over 40. Getting a port in next week to start IV chemotherapy again. Might be a good thing as this
Xtandi
was hard in him.

Newbie. Good day to all!
Am also on Lupron and
Xtandi
. Had chemo five years ago. No radiation, no surgery. Gleason 9, of course. PSA holding steady below 5 most of time with occasional temporary bump ups a few ticks. Medical care is VA, which I‘m satisfied with.

Are all AR inhibitors the same?
Got a question about AR inhibitors, specifically darolutamide (Nubeqa) & enzalutamide (
Xtandi
). Been fighting PC for seven years; Gleason 8; radiation, then recurrence. Has metastasized to lymph nodes, but not bones. Took Abiraterone (Zytiga); didn't work.

Metastatic cancer, into this journey since January 2020, had radiation, currently under ADT and
Xtandi
, psa very low, do you think it’s ok to go with less ?

What to expect after Xtandi?
He then started on
Xtandi
and has been seeing a low and steady number since (.31). A few years back we tested my dad for genetic markers and found nothing significant. We're currently testing his tumor samples to see if we can find and markers within them.. but we haven't received any results.

Has anyone done Radio Frequency Thermal Ablation of the nostril?
I had 6 rounds of doxe chemo, now I am on lupron every 4 months,
Xtandi
160 mg every day, 400 mg gabapentin daily, and Xgeva injection every two weeks. My PSA has gone down from 117 to less than 0.09. I have had several side effects like fatigue, hot flashes, peripheral neuropathy.

The study included two different groups: Group A (80 men) were given docetaxel chemotherapy (Taxotere) followed by one of the second-line hormonal therapies: either abiraterone (Zytiga) or enzalutamide (
Xtandi
) Group B (32 men) were given a second-line hormonal therapy then followed by Taxotere

Aggressive treatment
MO put me on monthly injections of Firmagon and 160 mg of
Xtandi
, daily. Would this be considered an aggressive treatment regimen? Thanks!
