after effects of PVC Ablation
My mom had pvc ablation 2 days ago and now complains of chest pain at about 7 and just feeling tired. She has a knot at the entry sure but it doesn't hurt. Should I be worried?

How long to leave dressing?
Hi all. I had my lap surgery done yesterday and it was my first op. Bloated and sore, can feel the incisions stinging a bit as they heal. I just wanted to know how long you left your dressings on? My discharge booklet says 48 hours but the nurse said 5 days which seems a bit long for the same dressings

Stage Fright
Does anyone have any advice about overcoming stage fright? I'm pretty good at public speaking and performing, but I don't think I'm living it to my full potential because I get really queasy sometimes when I speak or perform in front of people and so am a bit more timid than I could be otherwise. Then

I’m about to start a 2 week course of self administration antibiotics , I work in a school and I have been told I should be able to have a normal day despite having a line in my arm, had anyone else had this , how did it effect your day to day life?

Diagnostic laparoscopy
Hello, I have been invited in off the cancellation list for Monday (the 11th) for my diagnostic laparoscopy. I’m terrified and worrying about everything due to already having anxiety but the main question I have is can I have the operation done if I am on my period? I started Wednesday so it’s going

Trouble Healing Belly Button Incision!
Hello, four weeks after my laparoscopy and my belly button incision still isn’t healed. When I went to have the stitches removed 2 weeks ago the doctor prescribed me some antibiotic cream and after a week it seemed to be settled, but a couple of days ago I must of interuppted the healing whilst examining

Wrist surgery
Hi Has anyone had any form of hand/wrist surgery? I have been offered several surgical interventions - wrist fusion, partial wrist replacement, full wrist replacement or nerve removal. I’m struggling to decide which will be best as I cannot envisage what it will be like post surgery. I am in my early

It’s dredged up some old
wounds
and feelings i’ve pushed deep down. My City has been passing out flyers about suicide prevention. Talking to people and spreading the word on how to look for warning signs and how to talk to someone if you fear they are in trouble. It’s great.

Anxiety suffers reassurance
It’s also very good at telling you when something is wrong and it’s best feature is that it heals
wounds
and heals it’s self against illness and disease ( sometimes with a little help ) but when anxiety sets in in our minds we try to take over its natural functions and we start to stick our beaks in

Both, Cryo- and RF ablations in one procedure
Had an ablation done last Thursday and afterwards was told that it was cryo ablation for pulmonary vein isolation in left atria and RF ablation for atrial flutter in the right one. Just curious if anybody had both done during the same procedure. Thank you all from the bottom of my healing heart for

You are beautifully created...be free
You are beautifully created... be free You deserve to let go and start over...let yourself be yourself, be free! Forgive. It’s okay to be with the pain and then to let it go. Say goodbye loud enough so that the ends of the earth will hear you. This is it. It’s all you. It will work. You may find more

Leg and instep pain.
After injuring my leg last February, and MRSA infecting it, an ulcer developed. I had to have my leg bound with dressings, three times a week until September. The skin has remained very thin, and even a slight scratch bleeds profusely. Since all this I have been kept awake at night with this same leg

Endometriosis diagnosis from diagnostic laparoscopy
Hi guys I just wanted some advice. I had a diagnostic laparoscopy last Tuesday and they found sticking between my rectum and womb area, ovarian cysts on both ovaries and I have a heart shaped womb. They couldn't do anything because I need a bigger operation, I'm guessing they will have to make a big
