Diagnostic laparoscopy

Hello,

I have been invited in off the cancellation list for Monday (the 11th) for my diagnostic laparoscopy. I’m terrified and worrying about everything due to already having anxiety but the main question I have is can I have the operation done if I am on my period? I started Wednesday so it’s going to be day 6 so hopefully tailing off but I’m worried they won’t see well in there? Sorry if it’s a silly question!
