Painful Bladder after Diagnostic Laparoscopy

Hello Ladies,

I had a diagnostic laparoscopy 8 days ago. Since then I have been having pain just before I'm about to finish urinating and when doing number 2 especially when I am constipated. It mostly when I am pushing.

I can feel the pain when I touch my belly just where my bladder is. I don't have any incisions there. They have not done anything during the operation, just checked all my organs.

Have you experienced something similar? My follow up is in 3 months

I had this, weeing was the most painful experience of my life. The 48 hours after the op, my bladder was cramping horribly and I'd be desperate for a wee every 2 minutes with little coming out. I was told it's because they put a catheter in and it can irritate and inflame. The bad pain settled after 2 days with me but I still had a nagging ache there for about 2 months!
