B12 deficiency
B12 deficiency I have to inject daily for B12 deficiency. All self diagnosed (started injecting in 2013 with the help of the Pe rnicious Anemia Society). I have recently heard the term functional B12 deficiency. Does anyone have any information on this as it seems I have this form of B12D.

I am in the process of getting surgery on my Aortic valve but this showed up too My hospital have finally set the wheels in motion to refer me to an endo before I have heart surgery

Gluten free fruit bread.
Hi everyone, They say that one thing leads to another and one of my neighbours gave me a jar of home made plum jam made with plums from her garden so I thought I know what this would go down a treat with so I made a loaf of gluten free fruit bread. Here's the recipe: 300g gluten free brown bread flour

Your experiences after cryo ablation please.
Out if the blue last week, I received a text message reminding me of an appointment I had today. I had no details of this appointment and had not received any letter or communication. I went along expecting to see the usual AF nurse but I was sent to the pacing clinic and it turned out it was the pre-assessment

From stent to surgery
You may have seen my previous post but to recap, mum had a heart attack on Wednesday morning. She had a couple of stents put in to a blockage and went for another angiogram today. Unfortunately there is a calcium and fat buildup which is not suitable for stenting. She has been told she will have to

Ablation recovery update
Good morning kind people, Just wanted to let you know how things are progressing, and for some advice please. It is now 9 weeks since I had my ablation, and as I have already posted, I have been having problems with my blood pressure dropping very low, and feeling as if I am going to pass out when ever

I had a hankering for wedges
So I made some and served them with salad for dinner plus a little sour cream and sweet chilli dipping sauce. I washed, dried and cut up the potatoes then added them to a bowl containing olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, oregano and rosemary. Once they were coated in the oil and spice

A potentially silly question about chest pains
Hi all! So the question of if you're having chest pains with AF always comes up and, this may sound silly, but what does that really mean? What kind of chest pain? Sometimes I might get a very brief little digging pain (not very painful at all) under my breast that doesn't seem to be triggered by anything

Fish in a dish - Spanish style
Hi, this is such an easy dish I got from an Instagram guy ( kitchen_of_dad ). I wanted to try it seeing as we were in Spain at the time. So I put the recipe in my blog. It's so simple, tasty and filling - it's now on our list to do often ! Called Spanish fish, essentially cod ( or any white fish), with
