I need help with my blood test results
Hi, I've been suffering from low testosterone since 20. I'm 33 now and I had a lot tested by the endocrinologist. My testosterone came back within normal limits but it was in the lower range. I don't know how to interpret my estrodial levels because there is no range. I'm trying to get a six pack and

Went to doc today, still feeling like I've been hit by a lead balloon. Got my blood results back!!!!
Went to see doc as I'm just not feeling right at all. She said I had a chest infection but wouldn't give me anything for it so I got a load of tabs myself. Got my blood results back and got a copy of them, she wasn't happy. She said that they came back normal and nothing to worry about. One is a low

Can anyone help me interpret these reading of my Serum C reactive protein level?
Value 0.40mg/L ( my reading ) If I read the print out correctly! Range U 0 - 5 My doc says I am showing an auto immune problem but surely this is in range. I was diagnosed with Primary Hypothyroidism a few months ago.

Re: GCA, rapid tapering and having a short term, mild problem speaking and finding words common in my job. Any experience with this?
I have been diagnosed with GCA and PMR and had my dose of prednisone tapered too rapidly. At 5 mg my SED rate & C reactive protein were higher than normal. I experienced probably what were PMR symptoms at a pain level of about 5 on the 10 scale. Upped the Prednisone to 7.5 mg. on April 18 and PMR symptoms

6 years ago I came down with a mystery illness. So far no doctors had been able to give me a diagnosis, could it be thyroid? More details..
I was just wondering whether if I posted a fairly detailed history of my case, symptoms and test results would you be able to offer any ideas about whether it might be thyroid or thyroid related? Or just any ideas at all really? (I was recommended to put this on here from someone within a Lupus group

I have just had my monthly blood test and my CRP is 20, when it is usually 1 or 2.
I am on Prednisolone 12 mg daily (for GCA) and had got down to 10mg in March, but had a relapse with violent headache and vomiting, so had to up the dose. What might have caused the increased CRP? Could it possibly be the mild excitement of a rare visit from my daughter and a grand-daughter? It was hardly

Intern who prescribed azithr will be at the hosp./Thursday.Will call then
Hi, I called the hospital to speak with the treating intern from last night and she will not be working again, until Thursday. Will be on the phone, tomorrow, with my doctor. medrol and macrolides are not a good mix. The intern apparently believed I had "rheumatoid artheritis" not "temporal arteritis

What's the deal with CRP
for my next set of bloods, the haematologist has asked for CRP, which I am assuming is C-Reactive Protein as a tumour marker. Has anyone any info on this? I'm kind of looking at a low value as positive news, what do ppl reckon?

Found link to Christine Northrup and information on adrenal dysfunction
Hi Everyone, I found the link from Christine Northrup on adrenal dysfunction. Her advice is good and I find it helps.A major difference is that we are not dealing with stress related Adrenal dysfunction, it is medicine related, but the advice is good, it seems. Another bad storm here and I missed

Had my results back and my GP agrees that my thyroid is clearly not working as it should be. The lab declined testing my T3 despite having severe Hypo and Anxiety symtoms and taking 100mcg of Levo daily. He is ringing them to ask if they will reconsider but referring me to Endo also. Here are some if
