Last week my daughter was confirmed as having ppfe. She had a bone marrow transplant 11 yrs ago as she had acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Is there anyone out there in the same situation?

Pain and blood in urine after long walks
My husband experiences pain and some blood spots in his urine after long walks. Im amazed at how some of the warriors here can still run when my husband cant even do long walks. His latest pet scan showed his prostate size is back to normal (about 9grams now) so we dont know whats causing the pain or

Small Cell Experience…
Hope you’re all enjoying your Saturday. Been 11 months since last Lupron shot. Vacation feels great, however, tissue from recent TURP showed small cell cancer. Here’s a summary of past couple of years, and some notes from Dana Farber visit yesterday: 2-2018 local and low vol nodal recurrence. 7-2018

It should be noted that IVC can cause short periods of
water
retention
- I gained about 1 lb of
water
weight after each session which required a couple of days to lose.

Introducing me - Jason
I got the news over the phone from my doctor’s office December 2nd. Considering how much sooner my husband got his results (we had biopsies on the same day with the same doctor) about a week before me. I moved to Pittsburgh PA so I could marry the man I love, our 5th anniversary will be on Feb 16th.

Twin pregnancy - low blood flow and slightly low abdominal measurement
Hi, I'm 24 weeks pregnant with twins. At my 20 weeks scan (was actually 21 wks) all was ok. A scan 2 weeks later showed a slightly lower than expected abdominal measurement for twin 2 so they asked me to come back a week later (24 weeks). This scan showed blood flow to twin 2 was within the normal

Recommendations for magnesium
I've got bored of pushing down 2 enormous Solgar magnesium citrate tablets every day, never mind the expense. I'm thinking of something i can mix in water next time. What do people recommend?

Dermatillomania/ Skin Picking
Does anybody out there struggle with skin picking like I do? I just cannot seem to stop picking at blackheads, whiteheads, and any kind of blemish that barely even seems to be there. It gives me such anxiety to think there is something sitting in my skin, that I pick and squeeze until I have huge sores

LIVING WITH ADD/ADHD AND WHY IT’S A GIFT
On this site I read that many of us have ADD/ADHD. My heart goes out to those that have it, including Yours Truly. So as a contribution I would like to add some solace around all this. First ADD and ADHD are quite similar: Attention Deficit Disorder. The H in ADHD stands for Hyperactive... those of

Recurring Problem
I've been trying to comfort myself by encouraging others and it does help me. Right now I could use some honest feedback. I love my wife, and want very much to be a kind and loving husband, but I find myself frequently frustrated and sometimes I don't like the way I act. I started paying attention to

Bloating and water retention from prednisone, I need some help with How to get rid of the symptoms
I have severe bloating and
water
retention
from 80mg a day of prednisone . And I just need to know how to get some relief? I’ve never had it affect me quite this bad. And I’m peeing tons every hour. Still miserable. I literally look and feel 9 months pregnant . And can barely move.

Is everyone with proteinuria of +1g/day suffering from water retention? Or just CKD with water retention in general.
Hi all, I'm just wondering if most of you with proteinuria of over 1g/day also suffering from
water
retention
? And if so, what's your
water
retention
like? I'm asking because I was extremely petite (often being assumed as anorexic!)

About to do the TURP procedure
I have Prostate cancer with Gleason 8 and about to do the TURP procedure. My big problem is the medium lobe. Anyone have an opinion or experience with the recovery from TURP and having prostate cancer. Thank you for the effort. And Happy New Year with many good days to come.
