Arthritis
I have had Arthritis for many years, but lately it has got worse, particularly my hands. I take 8 Paracetamol a day, and Voltarol Max, to have instant help. I have asked my GP if there is anything different to try, the answer was no.

Kinds of pain
I'm trying to decide which pain is which, and therefore how to improve things. I've been on Pred since 2016, never free of stiffness, but spent few years coping on 3mg. A def flare after a covid jab- I knew because I had to crawl upstairs on hands and knees- sent me up to 6 where I was stable but still

Sudden foot pain
Could sudden foot pain be a sign that I’m tapering too quickly? I was finally diagnosed with PMR last July having suffered with pain and stiffness since Christmas 2022. I have tapered to 12 mg of preds by decreasing .5 of a mg every two weeks which seemed to be working fine. I have had a very busy couple

jaw pain
A few weeks ago I noticed that I couldn’t open my mouth as wide as I normally could without pain on the left side. Also, if I yawn and forget not to open it too wide I get a horrible pain and twisted feeling in my neck and throat. I went to the doctor’s surgery this week and saw a senior health practitioner

Voltarol
Is it considered ok to use Voltarol cream when taking Pred? I am confused as to whether it's an NSAID. I am hoping to use it on what is supposedly an artritic knee joint.

Aching calf muscles
Hello again everyone. I have had Maderna jab, then the flu, cough etc, but not covid. All other ailments, except cough had subsided...but now aching calf muscles in both legs. Back from GP appt, but not very reassuring, as it was a student locum, in hospital scrubs, who almost took longer reading up

Update: Dad's BROKEN ANKLE, non-planned SURGERY.... followed by PSYCHOSIS. -How he is IMPROVING!
DIAGNOSIS HISTORY: Although being diagnosed with PD in 2010 and likely having it for closer to 20 years, our 78yo father has done relatively well, considering age and this persistent, progressing condition he has. Before Parkinson's, our father was strong and hard-working, active, ate well...and he

Endometriosis pain
My 18 year-old daughter is severely affected by the pain of endometriosis. She currently takes paracetamol, voltarol /naproxen. However, they seem to be of limited help. Could anyone share with me succesful experiences with pain killers? I am considering taking her to a pain clinic but not sure how

interesting Xeloda trial
Hi friends, I listened to a presentation summarizing reports from ASCO 2023 related to MBC, and what really interested me was that for Xeloda, a fixed dose taken one week on/one week off, produced as good results as current standard of care with fewer side effects. Also: cream form of Voltaren/diclofenac

costochondritis
is it possible to get this condition just be leaning sideways over a waist high fence? The pain I am in is terrible at night particularly exacerbated by covid. What can I do for this other than rub voltarol and take paracetomol? I’m on 2 steroids a day (for poly myalgia). Thank you

Another Quandary
I am going a bit off piste but hopefully someone on this forum might be able to help. I have had GCA for around about 7 years which is under control with 2mg a day of coated prednisolone. Recently I have had a flare of arthritis in my knees. Phoned GP he prescribed Naproxen 50mg along with Pantaprazole

Voltorol gel
I know this is probably a question for my nephrologist but getting hold of him is proving elusive. i have stage 3b ckd and have a constant (unrelated) bad back for which i take tramadol for. my question is whether it'd be ok to rub Voltarol (diclofenac 2.32%) onto back as used it before my ckd
