Post SCT update
I'm now +58 days and 3 weeks out of hospital. So far (touch wood, fingers crossed) I'm not showing any signs of GVHD or other abnormal symptoms but I know this can all still happen as my recovery progresses. Consultant has reduced the Mycophenolate (in place of Cyclosporin which didn't agree with me)

Son tested positive for gastric parietal cell antibodies
My son has history with h pylori, which he was treated for, but the symptoms haven't gone away completely. Last week I was talking about my own b12 deficiency and he informed me he has the same symptoms. I know he has been more tried than normal, but I put it due to the h pylori, after effects. As that

My hospital lab started to give me results for folate and b12 combined. Is it standard ? Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Any Help to break free of this rut I'm in??
I have battled mental illness most of my life(I'm 52). In 2015 in the span of a couple of months I found out my eldest daughter had been in a mentally abusive relationship, that eventually caused her a liver infection from being unable to eat a normal meal. She too has battled anxiety all her life. They

Daily back pain
I have had daily middle / upper back pain for 2 and a half years. I have pernicious anaemia too. G.p. thinks my pain is muscular. I've seen several physiotherapists. The current one thinks my pain is muscular caused by poor posture. I think she's probably right. I think it's been exacerbated by my job

Fatigue
I was diagnosed with endo about a month ago after my first laparoscopy. I’ve had symptoms since I was about 15/16. One of the things I struggle with the most, that has been progressively getting worse, is feeling tired and fatigued all the time. I never have any energy and don’t feel like doing anything

Clear Cell Progression
Here is an update on my treatment for ovarian clear cell carcinoma, which I guess has now moved into Stage IV (started 1a). My taxol/carboplatin & Avastin chemotherapy treatment was discontinued after 3 infusions, as CT scan showed progression of tumors, and invasion into my liver. The doctors at UCSF
