Current Trial (14 Days); 1.5mg methylcobalamin 3mg/ml, 1.5mg adenosylcobalamin 3mg/ml, 1mg hydroxocobalamin 1mg/ml. SC injection 5-6 times a day including setting an alarm to inject at night if warrnted. 50 mg B6 in the form of P-5-P three times a day or pain from peripheral neuropathy returns. Benfotiamin B1 300 mg three times a day.
I bought and read Overton's protocol for high dose of B1. I also viewed the following video. Shout out to Superhydrolim for sharing that.
Prior to that I had started a trial of B1 based on information about B1 used for peripheral nephropathy in diabetes. That trial was extremely positive and a life changer.
I now have a lot of decisions to make about how to proceed with the new information that B12 without B1 is not appropriate for treatment of what I experience.
Overton has an imagination and seems not to be hindered by the historical failure of experts that he has studied. He gives a well done protocol and allows that it can be intricate. He is not dogmatic and at least currently sharing knowledge and not trying to educate those that currently fail to treat successfully that are licenced to treat.
Pretty much I find it likely that had his protocol been available then I never would have had to inject B12. That the antibodies that my body produces would have resolved with correct treatment not based on the failed hematologic understanding developed half a century ago. PA is life long with current understanding of how to treat and test.
Now comes the hard work of unlearning what I thought was true about B12 and perhaps discovering that I am different and Overton's understanding is not applicable.
It is interesting that I on my own developed a high dosage of B12 protocol on my own which was more successful than any other protocol that I have read about. It was flawed in that I did not use B1 other than in small amounts when taking "Simple Supplement" in lieu of a B complex which I abandoned to study the effects B12 administered differently than anyone else. It seems that work which has taken 8 months to be unnecessary.
It is nice that my next trial was going to be to add magnesium and Overton has done the work that I was going to do and I can at least start by following his work.
Correlating what is thought to be true about B12 has no value to me at this juncture. My process does not rise to the level of my goals it is the opposite.
Note: I ate my first meal normally in 5 years!
