improved blood work, am I a good converter or do I need support?
I’m still not out of the woods yet, but I’m happy to see some improvement. Here’s my latest results. The not so good news is d-dimer is still elevated but has come down, cholesterol is the same, but hasn’t got worse, my sex binding globe is still high, I’ve overdosed on vitamin D, and TPO has gone

info on parathyroid please
Hi. This post isn’t about me but looking for info to help my daughter. She has had low kidney function since she had a tummy bug aged 11. She is now mid 40s and at her latest kidney review was told her parathyroid blood level was high. She showed me the numbers but I can’t remember them - they were not

Could a very bad varicose vein bleed have affected my b12 Levals?
I have B12 injections every 12 weeks. On 15th of July I had a varicose vein burst when I got out of the shower. Not to go into to many details .......the blood was every where it bled for 20+ minutes until my sister helped me stem the flow of blood, as it is in an awkward position on my calf. I did

I have been following Ray Peat’s ‘non diet’ diet, and I’m wondering if actually it’s not working for me. To me I can see that my estrogen is at the lower

Switching from IM to SC?
Hi All, I just wondered if anyone has switched from IM to SC, or if anyone can advise what needle is required for SC please? I've always self injected B12 IM but the last few months I've found it really difficult and always bleeding/bruising so thinking of moving to SC if that would be easier? Is it

Good diet so no need for Adcal?
I asked my GP (again!)about taking Adcal and explained that a lot of people on this forum were automatically prescribed it when put on steroids. GP asked about my diet and said I was getting plenty of calcium in my diet. He said calcium and Vitamin D levels were good on my last blood test and the DEXA

Advice on latest thyroid test
I am seeing GP tomorrow regarding latest blood tests. Currently take 125mg levothyroxine. TSH 0.32 (-65%) 0.35-4.94 T4 15.3 (62.38%) 9-19.1 T3 4.3 (52.78%) 2.4-6.0 TSH was flagged as Abnormal so GP will mention that - it was 1.08 in Feb and 1.25 last October (same ranges) but no T4 or T3 tested.

Adrenal dysfunction
HelloI'm starting hydrocortisone treatment for adrenal dysfunction. Does anyone know if this will effect b12? Am I OK to continue with EOD injections? I'm wondering now if my symptoms are due to adrenal issues and not b12. Although my b12 before supplements was 215. Maybe both treatments will finally

A little overwhelmed
Was diagnosed as having hyperthyroidism several weeks ago. To say I was surprised was an understatement. I had asked to have bloods taken as I am on long term medication for atrial fibrillation and also mitral valve regurgitation. Both conditions had been well managed for a long time but I have been
