Hi, over the past 6 weeks my hair has been falling out in clumps and I feel very anxious. Is there anything in my blood that could explain?

I feel overmedicated. Sweaty hands, very frequent bowel movement

Tsh 1.7 (0.27-4.2)

ft4 17.6 (12-22)

ft3 4.59 (3.10-6.8)

iron 112 (40-150)

ferritine 50 (15-150)

transferritine 2.3 (2-4)

saturation 35% (16-45)

LH 11.7 (1-11.4)

FSH 7.9 (1.7-7.7)

estradiol 110 (33-298)

progesterone 9.13 (1.8-23.9)

Vit D 30 (20-60)

Can you be overmedicated when tsh is >1 ?

Free T4 (fT4) 17.6 pmol/L (12 - 22) 56.0%

Free T3 (fT3) 4.59 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 40.3%

Your blood results point towards being under replaced rather than over replaced. There is a large cross over between hypo & hyper symptoms and its more likely that you need a dose increase at the moment.

Do you also have results for B12 & folate?

Ferritin should be around 90 - 100 for best use of thyroid hormone. Suggest increasing iron rich foods in diet and eating them often. Chicken livers, pate, red meat etc

Hi Jaydee, thanks for the quick reply. I know it seems like I am not overmedicated but when I add more T3 I feel exhausted, down and sleep all day.

I will add more iron foods.

Your conversion is resonable. Try adding more Levo.

Make sure your B12 & folate are OPTIMAL.

Last year my ft4 and ft3 were the same but there was no hairloss. I don't understand.

Symptoms do stack up over time. That combined with less than optimal ferritin and the symptoms are catching up with you.
