NSAIDs
For example, I read that for some taking
Vitamin
D
sets off Afib so I did a trial of
Vitamin
D
, taking literally a baby dose. Sure enough, Afib within the hour. So no
Vitamin
D
supplements for me, unfortunately. Thank you so much!

Elderly mum's blood test results (part 2)
Hello, I posted about a month ago regarding my mum's blood results and I have put her on
vitamin
D
to try and get her level up. She had to have another blood test so I couldn't put her on the B vitamins as I know these interfere with the test.

Morning Temperature!
My vitamins are all good - as per previous post except for Folate which I am supplementing for with a B complex with folate and have reduced my
Vitamin
D
as the level was too high. My TSH is still a bit high but T4 is okay.

Waiting for diagnosis
My
vitamin
D
was low so i did another 4 month course. My bloods then came back normal again. During this time my symptoms got worse. I was constantly tired and no amount of sleep ever made me feel rested. I had a constant headache, my joints were painful and i kept losing my concentration.

parathyroid specialists contd
I have not completed my question regarding low calcium level and dry mouth following my total thyroidectomy. I understand that low calcium is a typical symptom of parathyroid being damaged .I am taking calcium supplements and alfacalcidol - a form of Vit d enzyme to help with calcium absorption but

Good afternoon, I have been asked by my gp to take an over the counter B vitamin supplement that contains at least 400mcg of folic acid. I managed to buy Thorne Basic B complex with folate but I am finding the tablets difficult to swallow because of their size. Can anyone recommend another brand of vitamin

Frequent injuries when exercising.
I have been hypo for about 10 years, currently on 75mcg levo, and 10mcg lio but drop to 5mcg twice a week, otherwise my heart rate goes up from 60’s to 90’s. TSH 0.01, FT4 16.1, FT3 4.6, both 41% through range. Vit D 85. I find if I do even pilates, ligaments and bursae get easily inflamed. Eg an ankle

Disappointed
Vitamin
D
is very low. I’m waiting for Medichecks pernicious anaemia tests to come back. I recently had a CT scan as part of my surgery follow up and it showed nothing untoward. The GP refused to comment on the gastritis and said that B12 is not deficient.

Update- I no longer take Dipyridamole
Vitamin
D
helps me keep my ferritin levels up with ease. If iron is the issue, no drugs are going to work until the iron issue is resolved! Insomnia - seems to have gotten under control by itself.

Advice for block and replace please
I also take
vitamin
D
and selenium supplements - is it best to take all together or to spread out? What signs should I be looking out for that the levothyroxine dose is too low/high? Thank you very much in advance!

1st appointment after finding out you are pregnant
Should I be taking specific vitamins in addition to folic acid and
Vitamin
D
? My GP is not being helpful and has asked me to wait for the appointment with the maternity doctor. 2. When will my first appointment be? 3. Is Northwick park Maternity good at all?
