Low adjusted calcium level
Vitamin
D
is higher in the range around 100 (I take 3,000IU per day) plus was on a multivitamin as well. It has never been a problem previously but two blood tests in the last year (since starting levothyroxine) have shown a low adjusted calcium result. Tried searching the group but no luck.

Why ?
Why then do they keep prescribing me these vile little blue
vitamin
D
capsules that are in a foil that is more of a launch vehicle than a storage solution and when I do get my fingers on one they are slipperier than a greased politician? Is it too much to ask for just an ordinary bloody bottle?

Ultrasound and Vitamin D
I also asked whether there are any vitamins that I can take, he has prescribed a high level
Vitamin
D
tablet as my Homocysteine levels were also triple what they should be. He has advised to take the tablet weekly. Any advice and reassurance would be really helpful. Thank you.

Restless Legs
I also take a statin, a reflux pill,
vitamin
D
, flomax, and cialis. Obviously this is tough to pinpoint and I understand that - but just curious if others have any thoughts. Thanks

any tips/advice
I have recently started taking some supplements like lions mane,
vitamin
d
, a B complex, ashwagandha and N-acetyl cysteine. I’m gluten and dairy free and a vegetarian. I think Im relatively fit but probably could do with losing a round 6/7 lbs.

More on D3 supplementation (only if you're really into it)
David Anderson in 2020, "

Advice on Vitamin D, K2 and Folate
What I would like advice on is
vitamin
D
, I have been taking D3 supplements for many years prescribed by my GP but I think I remember seeing on here that if you take
vitamin
D
supplements you should also take
vitamin
K2, is this correct? Should I be taking vitamin K2?

Alendronic Acid
About 7 months ago I was given
vitamin
d
and calcium tablets which I am fine with. I was also given Alendronic acid which makes me feel very lethargic for a couple of days after taking. Has anyone else experienced this. I’m virtually at the point of deciding not to take this anymore.

Is anyone here familiar with metabolomic analysis?
For example a blood test might say that your calcium, potassium, choline, uric acid,
vitamin
D
, and other things are within the norms. But a metabolomic test might reveal that there is no
vitamin
D
in your mitochondria's environment (which can happen with some diseases).
