PMRGCAuk Annual Meeting....I wasn't alone today~!!
After my dress rehearsal last week, I got up at 4:30 AM, Central Time in the States, and was the only person at the Zoom link. I'm thrilled to report that I remembered today, and there were quite a few people. It was wonderful to put faces to the names of HU staff, Trustees, and some 'soul sisters' from

More advice please on blood tests
Hi again, and further to my last post could someone please advise me on recent blood tests. After appointment with Roseway labs Pharmacist on 23rd April I increased T3 to 10ug daily . Since my previous bloods showed T4 at the top of the range I reduced that from 100ug daily to 100ug 5 days per week

Titrating down EOD to E3D?
Going from SI every other day to every three--who's done it? And why did you decide to? Was it a successful reduction for you? Did you feel ok and did your symptoms remain at bay, or did flare ups happen that sent you back to EOD or daily? Trying to work out a way to budget my costs & time, so whether

Folic acid
If your folate levels are good, and you continue with EOD B12 injections, only taking folic once a week, what happens? Will you return to getting symptoms or does it mean the B12 just doesnāt get utilised as well as it should. I have been taking a B complex every day which has folate in it. Is the folate

Recent diagnosis questions & concerns, please respond to any that you can
Concern 7: I have never had
a
testosterone level taken. I have never had my
vitamin
D level taken. Should these tests be part of the clinical picture for the prognosis and possible progression of my prostate cancer diagnosis?

Very belated intro
I've had rls since I was in my teens. I'm now 66 years old. About 6-7 years ago, I was finally diagnosed with RLS, and given a medication that I can't recall the exact name of, but it was something like lebadopa carbadopa?? Anyway, that worked very well for me at first, but after a few months it would

Advice for blood-test redo after loading doses
Hi you lovely lot! I posted in July regarding my symptoms and your kind words helped give me the motivation to continue pushing my doctor surgery before they finally agreed to give me B12 injections. They started on 6 loading doses which I've just finished and now I need to wait the dreaded 12 weeks

B12 defficiency and bad behaviour
I met my girlfriend 6 months ago. We have lots in common and are very compatible, in short we get on great together. She was prescribed to take B12 injections EOD around 18months ago. She has all the symptoms of B12 deficiency. She hasn't been diagnosed with PA but she is definitely B12 defficient

Is this normal after SI?
Hi. As previously mentioned, I've been SI 1000mcg Hydroxycobalamin every other day for just under 2 weeks. At the moment my neuropsychiatric symptoms are very bad, and (unfortunately) seem to be getting worse daily at the moment. Am taking co-factors, but am being tentative with the potassium addition
