Hi Guys, New to this forum but have 7 years tackling & experimenting with nutrition for Hashimotos. With a keen background in nutrition I was determined to address it with this and avoid any thyroid drug interaction if possible. My antibodies were as high as 3500 at worst and are now 528 and dropping

More injection questions…
Thank you for the previous tips. I tried them but still had an angry (larger!) reaction this week, but it went down much rapidly and hasn’t itched or bruised much. Progress! Sorry for so many questions for a relatively trivial thing but please may I ask - do you put the needle in part way or right

Skin plugs
I started getting these about 6 months ago and read something about them coming from cats and soil or dirt but anyway I figured I would try aloe Vera straight from the plant and it healed it in 3 days I hope this helps a lot of people going through these skin plugs that wont heal

Modified release vs. Sustained release
Good evening everyone :) Following on from my post a couple of days ago, I managed to get my hands on my original brand of medication,
Vera
-
Til
SR
. However, I have noticed that this one does not say modified release on it and is a different colour to the one I originally take.

Same medicine, different brand?
My GP has advised that I always stick to one brand (
Vera
-
Til
SR
) and the pharmacist also suggested the same however, due to it being out of stock, I have been given the alternative.

IC and pelvic pain
Hi fellow suffers. I was diagnoised with IC 3 years ago and have chronic pelvic pain. I also have vulvodynia and IBS. I have tried numerous medications and bladder instillations which have not worked. I have recently started Elmiron but too early to say if it's helping yet. I follow a strict IC diet

Itch Relief?
While vacationing last winter, I developed an unbearable itch on my feet. They felt like they were on fire and I was itching so hard I was afraid I’d tear the skin off. I grabbed some aloe vera (for sunburn) and rubbed it on my feet. Instant relief. Certainly easier than jumping in the shower! Hope

change in meds?
I’m about to be changed over from Degarelix (Firmagon) to Prostap (Lupron) in a couple of weeks because 3 monthly injection is more convenient. I’ve read that Degarelix is better though.., maybe I should ask to stay on that? Or I’m wondering about asking to switch to Orgovyx instead. I’ve had a quite

Solo travel
Hey! I’ve just been informed by my GP that I probably shouldn’t be going backpacking solo as my flare ups are so bad I’m unable to move at all when they occur. They have also said I should take prostap every month for a year. Has anyone been told to not travel alone before or had these injections

Prostap?
Have you been offered Prostap? What do you think of prostap and would you take it? I have been offered it as a last resort, after my second laparoscopy they don’t really want to continue with surgeries so they have offered me the injections but the side affects are scary I haven’t seen much about

More prostasp or hysterectomy?
Just wondered what to expect when I get to the end of my 3months of Prostap I've been prescribed and meet with my consultant again. How will she decide whether to prescribe more or just go ahead with a hysterectomy (which is my preference)? Also, because I'm private am I able to just tell her I want

Possible Hysterectomy at 42 as feel everything else hadn’t worked
My first time posting and really sorry for the long post. I have been struggling for the last 13 years, I’ve lost all of my thirties to pain and discomfort. My first laparoscopy and helium beam treatment back in 2011 they detected peritoneal pocketing found in the left uteri- sacral ligament and left

endometriosis centre
My surgeon has referred me to the endometriosis centre in Manchester. Has anyone else ever had to wait upto a year to see them? My surgeon isn’t in my area I have moved to so I’m struggling with what to do now as my treatment has finished this month after being on prostap for stage 4 endo.
