MRI, Ultrasound & Ryeqo

Sooo I have finally been referred to another hospital to hopefully help me!

It took my consultant 5 weeks to click the button to refer me, but once she had, the new hospital had me booked in for an MRI scan (I don’t know why I’m going but at least something is happening) so that is my morning tomorrow.

Saturday I have an ultrasound which usually knocks me around but I feel that something is finally being done.

I have had a tough time of it lately, stress has been a terrible factor for pain. Tens machine hasn’t helped the contraction pains.

Has anyone been put on the Ryeqo drug yet? I’m still waiting for my prescription (5 weeks) hoping it’ll be more effective than the prostap injections.

I want to be a “normal” 27 year old now.

For anyone who is keeping track or has seen my posts before, on the plus side- new relationship is wonderful and the guy is so understanding and caring about all of this, I can’t quite believe it! Wooooop! X

Unfortunately ryeqo didn’t work for me at all however I’ve spoke to a few people on here who it has worked for. I know that isn’t helpful but it hopefully it helps you know you’re not alone if it doesn’t help and that there are plenty of success stories for each negative one

Thank you! I moved slightly when they were doing the MRI so I hope I don’t have to do it again…

I know someone who has used it for her fibroid but it didn’t suit her. Still waiting to see! We’re all different, but all going through the same!
