Hope someone maybe able to help/put my mind at ease. I had a FET in Jan which failed , for that i took prostap to shut everything down. after the failed FET, I had a bleed (which i know isn't a real period)... im now 9 days late for period, I had a light spotting monday-weds day, then yesterday had the what felt like the start of period and slight spotting but gone again now. dont want to waste a preg test as have read implantation bleeding only lasts 1-2 days. but why is it taking so long to arrive, is it the prostap? x

Whys period so late?

Hello, I’m so sorry to hear of your failed FET. I had a failed FET in Feb. I’ve not taken prostap but my clinic have said it’s often usual for periods to be all over the place after a failed fresh or FET. Could you contact your clinic to check if you’re concerned? Xx
hello I had a failed fet beginning of Feb had withdrawal bleed still no period. Am wondering when mine might show up too🙄
So sorry for your fet failed it’s devastating. Ivf is so cruel x
It's completely normal after failed rounds for it to take a while for your periods to get back to normal. I think mine took 3 or 4 months to go back to a regular pattern each time, and there were long times in between the periods. If I remember correctly I think the longest one after a failed cycle was 56 days.
If you think you could be pregnant then definitely check, but there is a good chance that it's all the hormones affecting your system still.
prostap will affect your cycle and your lining. You may find you just don’t have much to shed.
I don't have any issues normally and my periods are normally regular but following a chemical/failed transfer my period was something like 12 days late. I ovulated on something like day 29 whereas it would normally be day 15. The medication and stress just messes it all up for a bit x
