Breathing after vats
I I had vats procedure done with talc on both lungs. I was in hospital for twelve days, two of which where in Icu . My chest is still really crackly and I keep coughing up phlegm. I'm guessing this is normal but I start to panic when I can't get my breath and then it makes breathing worse. Has anyone

Do your research
My levels never went to 0 lupron shots,
vantas
implant for a year. Still it was detectable around 4 I now add zeolite enhanced with oxy dhq to my daily diet. It helps reactivate your liver to filter cancer from your body. It does not kill cancer.

VATS pleurodesis
Hi, I've just started crizitonib as targeted therapy. It's only been two weeks but I can feel the fluid building up again. I had a drain two weeks ago and then three weeks before that. I presume it's fluid because my fatigue is terrible and I'm breathless. The consultant has mentioned vats pleurodesis

Low PSA with a Gleason 8 diagnosis
The
Vantas
did not decrease my testosterone sufficiently, so I went back on Casodex. In March 2010, I became the first patient in my doc's practice to start on Firmagon, which was quite effective and I continued with its monthly injections for 2 more years.

Do you want your oncologist to be honest?
I was dx in Dec. 2013 with stage IV NSCLC. I was told after a VATS surgery that I was inoperable but if I had a gene mutation I could take an oral targeted therapy that would give me more time. My first oncologist was a very upbeat, cheerleader type, always giving a thumbs up and rushing me through

Catamenial pneumothorax
Last year I had 2 collapsed lungs as a result of endometriosis on my diaphragm. I have had 2 rounds of VATS pleurodesis and have been put on zoladex for the last 7 months. Has anyone else been on this treatment? Is so for how long? And what happened when you came off it? Thanks in advance!

I have been experiencing these symptoms for a week, it's worse when I drive, I've even felt panicked about it. So of course I googled to see a bunch of crazy things pop up. Now I'm scared. Went to 3 different docs (general, pulminologist, cardiologist) everything checked out but they gave me Nexium and

My Father is going in for this procedure, (stage I lung cancer) and i was hoping to get some inside information on some things we could do for him at home that will make his recovery easier. Should we get adjustable Mattress, or a self lifting recliner for him? what can we expect?? thanks

Hives? Cellulitis?
I had a very bad case of cellulitis in both calves two weeks ago. After finally getting the right combo of antibiotics from my primary care doc (the ER prescribed something that was ineffective), it went away. On Thursday I noticed a few red welts on both calves, very itchy and sore to the touch (firm

Losing weight, hair, and so many other symptoms. Help!
I've been obsessing over symptoms for 3 months now....all since one ER resident doc said he thought he saw a couple pappiloma in my throat the first week of June. (I went in for a sore tooth I thought might be infected ). I was scared to death thinking I had oral cancer for two weeks until I got home
