Hashimotos and peri menopause
This is despite taking localised oestrogen in the form of
vagifem
and oestrogen cream. My medication was 150mcg T4 in June and 5mcg T3 and my blood results were the best T4 I ever had.

Bladder Pressure
I tried
vagifem
, still suffering I booked a consultant appointment, decided to pay as couldn't cope any more. After examination told me it was pressure from the bowel due to constipation. Things apeared to settle but always nervous about finding a loo. A yr later it's flared up again.

Has anyone who was prescribed
vagifem
found it increased headaches and migraines. On google it’s a side effect, my GP says no, my head def unhappy. However overdue Botox due to covid. Other uncomfortable symptoms, but head bonkers just now.

Has anyone experience of Ospemifene
I am unable to use
vagifem
and estriol; the discharge burns and causes so much discomfort. I am due to see a pelvic floor dermatologist in a couple of days and I want as much information as I can. Thankyou very much; this website has been a huge help for me.

Vagifem update
As suggested here I've spoken to my local pharmacist and she said, because it's absorbed locally and only twice a week, using alongside Pred should be ok. 🤞 Thanks for helpful replies. It's a pharma minefield out there.

Vaginal pain, anal pain, nearly 4 years on and feeling desperate!
I have seen various bodies, had a Pudendal nerve block, taken Gaberpenten, Amitriptyiline, am on HRT, am using
Vagifem
and Ovestin cream. I also have Lichen Planus on my vaginal lips, but the Trimovate is making no difference.

Lichen scleroma
I think this has been brewing for a few years but as there were no white patches i was treated with
Vagifem
pessaries for dryness and I just thought it was something to do with the menopause.

Estriol 0.1% cream...allergic reaction....??!!
I refused to NOT have any estrogen in that area...continuous water infections are horrendous and can lead to issues elsewhere in the body...even in the brain (some people with confusion actually have it due to a extreemly bad water infection) so I was placed instead on
vagifem
10mg.

Why is this happening?
I have been taking
Vagifem
low dose for 6 months now with no problems, my RA although lots of damage doesn’t bother me till lately. Sore slightly swollen hands and feet. Sometimes when storms constantly build it happens but this has been ongoing for 2 weeks. Would
Vagifem
possibly be interfering??

Tampons for grade 1 bladder prolapse (cystocele)
I would greatly appreciate any help, I have been using
Vagifem
for 6 months since it happened. I am not working but would like to. I usually do cleaning or shop work but I don't think I can cope with bending like this, or carrying. The thought of a desk job at my age does scare me.

Could this solve recurring UTIs that many of us suffer with?
So we agreed to trial for three months
Vagifem
Estradiol and then review frequency of UTIS during this period. The
Vagifem
comes either as suppository or as cream. I like that she is looking at cause rather than treating effect.

What is the ideal dosage of Estrogen (Oestrogen) and Progesterone (and what types/ brands etc.) to stop 40+ woman's hair from falling?
I am taking 6mg Progenova daily, 75 Everol patch twice weekly, 1mg Sanderina gel twice daily and
Vagifem
capsule once daily. My hair has become much thicker and shinier but hair loss has not been arrested yet. Also, should I try some estrogen cream on the scalp directly?

Vaginal atrophy.
I am using
vagifem
. Not doing anything. Had bowel resection earlier this year because of diverticulitis, and to be honest, im over the bowel surgery but the atrophy is making my life a misery. I think this is really only being recognised nowadays, as women never used to talk about it.

Dryness
Hi Ladies Before I was diagnosed with mbc my GP prescribed
Vagifem
for dryness and I used it for over a year I’m now obsessed that this contributed to my cancer metastasises although my oncologist assured me that is not the case..she even says I can use it occasionally if I need to now Just wondered
