Hi , all new to me but here goes! A few yrs ago I started to get bladder pressure. Really tiring when trying to work. Doctor thought it was Athrophy due to menopause. I tried vagifem, still suffering I booked a consultant appointment, decided to pay as couldn't cope any more. After examination told me it was pressure from the bowel due to constipation. Things apeared to settle but always nervous about finding a loo. A yr later it's flared up again. Pressure on bladder , feeling rubbish. I'm trying everything! Cystitis powder, natural constipation tablets, ibuprofen, organic vag cream. I'm so confused , is it bladder or bowel and still in agony. I'm not on any medication and would prefer natural approach. Has anyone experience anything similar as this is ruling my life. I was a good walker but now will only walk in and area where I can get to the loo albeit I don't leak and have strong muscles, it's just the feeling of wanting to go and the pressure. Thanks

Bladder Pressure
I know exactly how you feel - anywhere I go I have to know where there are available toilets and my love of walking has come to an end, sometimes I get a gush of wee and always use a pad now as I’m frightened of having an embarrassing accident. I was using Vagifem which initially seemed to help - unfortunately now after a few days use I start to bleed. GP said just part of getting older when I told her about bladder pressure but friends of mine who are older than me (70) don’t have these problems. If you have found any solutions please let me know.
Hi Cassandra sorry to hear you are suffering. Although I have the pressure I don't leak at all. As the lining of the lady bits gets thinner with age it makes it more sensitive and inflamed. I am on vagifen to line this area and hopefully resolve the issue of pressure. I have tried different natural products but it always comes back. There are several natural products which I haven't tried and I believe there is a natural honey ladies used for atrophy particulary for this problem. It seems important that we do the pelvic floor exercises to help tighten the muscles. Also De_Mannose is a natural product recommended by gynicologist for the bladder. I do sympathise as it is debilitating if you are a walker. I how it gets easier.
