Has any woman spotted after not having her period for a year. My gynaecologist put me on vagifem 10 in aug and one side effect is spotting

I wás on Vagifem for many years but never had any spotting, you should get checked in case something is going on but it's not uncommon so don't panic.

Thank you I haven’t had any spotting in 1 year. But started using the vagifem and spotted a few times after using not lots just very faint red

Yes, I had spotting and cramping for about a week. Massive PMS symptoms. My FHS levels had been off the chart high for over 6 months meaning I as in menopause, so they considered spotting abnormal. They did an ultrasound and found thickening of the endrometrial walls which then prompted a biopsy. Everything was normal. After 9 months of no period. My gyno said it was the last hurrah in an attempt at a period. If it happens again, I’ll have to go through the whole ordeal. Get it checked out though as it’s worth the hassle.Likely nothing like me, but Early detection of issues, especially cancer can mean a much better outcome.

I went to gyno in aug everything was fine she gave me vagifem in aug and I used it a couple times as she said twice a week. I read on the paper there can be spotting as side effect. I do have app with family doc Monday
