A little light run after a busy day š
W1R2 was scheduled for today and she was super keen to run, so after work for us both (weekend job for Dabby-dot,
vaccination
centre for me) we headed out. She said the run felt easier today and she was certainly able to natter plenty as she ran!

Should COVID vaccines be compulsory for care home staff? Experts debate.
The UK government has announced that COVID-19
vaccination
will become mandatory for staff working in care homes for older people in England. Staff will be given 16 weeks to get the vaccine. If they donāt get the jab, they will be redeployed from frontline care or lose their job.

High vet bills and sick cat š
Iām feeling very down. Animals have always brought me happiness even on my darkest days. My cat has been very needy lately, crying etc but ate and drank ok. Well today he wouldnāt eat or drink so I knew something wasnāt right. I had to take him to an emergency vet and they had to take blood and urine

Care home residents are at risk of COVID-19 even after being fully vaccinated
Long-term care facilities, such as care homes with elderly residents with multiple underlying conditions, are at high risk of COVID-19 outbreaks and many
vaccination
campaigns have initially focused on care home residents and the staff looking after them.

Thrown Under the Bus
For those who think my recent posts have been fodder for anti-vaxxers, here is more evidence to encourage everyone to get vaccinated and to get the booster. Delta has returned and thrown all the immunocompromised under the bus. political references removed by admin

Adverse effects from Covid Vaccines ?
I would be interested to know if anyone with similar auto immune conditions has had an adverse reaction following the covid
vaccination
now we are several months into the program. I don't mean the usual sore arm stuff. More like bad reactions and/or development of new conditions

Be Careful Out There

More on vax T cell response
I attended a great webinar for healthcare people by nmss. One study, and I will post the link if they make it available, showed a robust T cell response in people who were on anti-cd20 dmts even when there is no antibody response and no B cell repopulation. In fact, the T cell response was better in

I have protection
My spike antibody for covid vaccine is positive. My dr said that he still wants me to take my booster vaccine. Iām taking it Thursday. He allowed me to stop my Azathioprine five days before the vaccine and seven days after, then resume 100 mgs. I was really hoping that he would allow me to discontinue

Covid Vaccination
A few days ago a post suggested that people who were immuno suppressed wouldn't benefit from the recent vaccinations. My partner is taking Adoport after a transplant 5 years ago. He has had both Pfizer doses & thought he was quite safe. After reading said post I am now worried that he should be continuing

FND , Covid and Covid vaccine
I was wondering if there are any people who had covid or had the covid vaccine and if it negatively influenced their FND? We live in the UK and they are now starting to vaccinate teens. I have read stories on another forum about the vaccine triggering episodes for young adults with FND but was wondering

Governmentās plan recklessly exposes millions in the UK to infection when they could be vaccinated
The government is following an apparent strategy of achieving herd immunity through mass infection, rather than the much safer (and more predictable) path of
vaccination
