Can I ask if any of you lovely people with lung disease have had the Pfizer vaccination? I’ve just changed my meds again I’m back on azathiarin, azathromicyn, prednisone as well as others and have now been told I have to have the Pfizer vaccination before being allowed to have my next course of cyclophosphamide. Have any of you had any side effects from the Pfizer? Thank you . Wendy

Likewise - two Pfizer vaccinations. Slightly tender arm around the site of the injection and a bit tired for a day after the second. Agree that it would be good for you to be vaccinated particularly with this more transmissible variant around now.
My husband and I have had 2 Pfizer jabs. I had a sore arm for a few days ( no worse than with flu) and my husband felt a bit odd. Nothing serious. My medication is different from yours, but I don't know if that makes any difference.
I have copd and had both jabs of the Pfizer and apart from a sore arm for a few days had no reaction whatsoever. There does seem to be fewer reactions reported for this vaccine than others.
Hi same as hypercat had both Pfizer jabs sore arm for a couple of days after first one no issues with second, definitely good get to it as soon as possible
Had 1st Pfizer 2 days ago. Discomfort with breathing, a little dizzy at the clinic where it was given. Had me lay in a cooler area on a large recliner chair where I was allowed to move my mask away from my face, which helped quite a bit to alleviate my discomforts. It was hot and humid and busy at this clinic, and masks make my heart rate go up and breathing more labored. I suppose anxiety didn't help. Afterwards took paracetamol equivalent (in US) and felt some arm pain and fatigue but overall did very well.
I hope you have such amenities available to you if you don't feel well afterward. I highly recommend asking for them if you do.
Yes Wendy I was receiving cyclophosphamide infusions when I received both of my vaccines. The only advice I was given was to try and arrange the vaccine so you have it more than 2 weeks before or after the cyclophosphamide to give the vaccine the best chance of working. Apart from a slightly heavy arm, all was fine. Good luck x
I had two doses of Pfizer, all OK. My skin is very delicate and cuts etc take longer to heal but that could be due to other reasons. I did mention it to my consultant and his answer seems to be to reduce my steroids.
I have COPD, am not on any of your meds but have been double vaxed with Pfizer and had minor side effects only. Later in the day I started shivering which lasted a few hours (no problem); felt more tired than usual for the next two days (again, no problem) and had the usual sore arm around the injection site for a couple of days (again, no problem), so all good X
My Pfizer was fine , my husband a bit tired for a day or so but as far as I know the Pfizer is the safe one which is why when I had mine it was all high risk people attending. 👍🏻👍🏻
Wendy, I am a Stage IIIA/IIIB Lung cancer survivor, lobectomy, radiation & chemo survivor, also with prostate cancer, Stage III COPD, and on 24/7 oxygen . I’ve had both Pfizer shots with absolutely NO ill effects. All Best Wishes to You, judg69
