Have been so cautious and have somehow still ended up with covid. Endo scratch due to take place 6th September for FET the following cycle. Anyone experienced something similar and had a positive? Not even sure the clinic will allow us to proceed so soon after.
Should also say I’m not vaccinated. I have read reports and know people who’s menstrual cycles have been impacted by the vaccine and with my PCOS 67 days cycles eventually being brought down to 35days I didn’t want to interfere with that.
I’ve been trying to be so strong but this has nearly tipped me over the edge. So fed up.
Also ladies please watch out as all the symptoms I have is a headache and torso aches and pains (for now anyway🤞🏻) take care x

Hey, not quite the same situation as you but my husband tested positive for covid on the final days of our STIMS, which really put a spanner in the works. I was terrified to tell the clinic for fear of the cycle being abandoned but I did tell them and they were amazing. EC still went ahead as usual, provided that I was testing negative, which I was. We had EC and transfer, then I tested positive a few days later. I did still get a BFP 2 weeks later and waiting for viability scan.
Every clinic is different though and I have heard of clinics who are cancelling cycles after positive tests. I think mine only went ahead because I was testing negative.
Your scratch is still 2 weeks away so I think you will be fine, it will have well left your system by then and you’ll probably just need to do a test with your clinic in advance? Worth just calling them for advice. Good luck xxx
Hi, i have had same thing. Tested negative day of FET but 2 days later positive for covid - couldn't believe it. Although it is do reassuring to see that it did not affect your transfer initially. I see this is now 5months old. I do all is still going g well for you all.
Hi RecipIVF. With regards to being vaccinated. This is something we do recommend, unless there is a definite reason for not doing so. You could have a look at the information given out by the HFEA hfea.gov.uk for their guidence. Good luick! Diane
