Off topic - nerve pain in arm
Hi all.I had a shingles
vaccination
about a month ago. After some pain from the injection in my arm it eased but was replaced by a radiating pain down the back of my upper arm. It feels like nerve pain. The pain is disrupting my sleep but doesn't bother me much during the day.

reaction to Spikevax XBB 1.5Moderna
I normally take prednisolone when I have a flare but feel it would be counter productive to what the
vaccination
is trying to do, so just taking paracetamol and riding it out. This is the second time this has happened to me. The first was 2 years ago following Moderna.

More evidence for vaccination
There's another article which confirms that, for most people on DMARDs, having a booster injection against Covid-19 improves the protection against having the infection and having it severely. [i]The effectiveness of a fourth mRNA vaccine dose was associated with a lower risk of a SARS-CoV-2 infection

When I look at my
vaccination
dates I see a possible link. Is it possible that the jabs we all had did in fact interfere with our hearts in some way? Or the virus itself did? If this is old ground please forgive me. But would really welcome any thoughts.

Covid Vulnerability- Baricitinib vs Rituximab
I have recently been invited for a Covid
vaccination
due to being on Rituximab. I don’t really want to have the jab. I have had 3 Pfizer vaccs since 2020 but none since early 2022 as the last jab resulted in a big flare.

Dilemma with vaccination.
Just wanted to thank everyone who replied to my post about whether or not to accept the booster jabs currently being offered. I'm very grateful for the support here and I'm sure others have been helped too! You can feel very alone with your thoughts and concerns and this site is fab!

Covid 19 vaccine UK
Hi there, I’d welcome any information you have on eligibility for Covid 19
vaccination
in the U.K. I’ve looked at the .gov.uk website and in one place it includes epilepsy under neurological conditions, in another place it doesn’t.

Dilemma with vaccination.
Just wondering if anyone has found themselves in a similar situation - I've received a notification suggesting I book my latest booster for a
vaccination
. My dilemma is that with my last one I felt quite ill and it played havoc with my ectopic heartbeats.

RSV vaccination
My question to the CLL community is: for those of you who got this
vaccination
, did you have a reaction beyond a sore arm? thanks!

I’m flabbergasted by your responses and very grateful for your interest and willingness to share your experiences it’s been a long journey I’m hoping that the vaccine will work out of my body asap and I can finally have some relief from the Afib and ectopics I’m having a cyroballoon ablation in January

A Novel Association Between Human Papillomavirus and Thyroid Eye Disease
Does HPV

reduce the likelihood of suffering TED? Given the fairly widespread cover by HPV vaccines, especially in the younger population, this could be very important. Are we already seeing a reduction in TED in the age group who have widely received HPV

Shingrix
I have previously posted regarding my frustration at being unable to get the Shingrix
vaccination
on the NHS despite taking MTX at 20mg. I believe I would be eligible if I was on greater than 20mg as I am taking no other meds. I am 62 so also ineligible based on age.

Shingles Vaccine Update
I woke to a text message from our GP's surgery to say that I am eligible for a shingles
vaccination
with a link to book in with a nurse. My GP's obviously looked up the guidelines & though better of her decision!

No more B12 injections at local surgeries
Grampian Health Board has now decreed that B12 injections will now be given at the
Vaccination
centre in Inverurie on a Tuesday. This is 15 miles away with no direct bus. I arrived on Tuesday to be told that 1.
