RSV vaccination
I'm having trouble getting the new RSV
vaccination
that my hematologist recommended (in addition to my annual flu shot and the latest Covid booster). Wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Fyi, I live in California, USA and have private Blue Shield insurance, which is usually pretty good.

Shingrix
I have previously posted regarding my frustration at being unable to get the Shingrix
vaccination
on the NHS despite taking MTX at 20mg. I believe I would be eligible if I was on greater than 20mg as I am taking no other meds. I am 62 so also ineligible based on age.

reaction to Spikevax XBB 1.5Moderna
I normally take prednisolone when I have a flare but feel it would be counter productive to what the
vaccination
is trying to do, so just taking paracetamol and riding it out. This is the second time this has happened to me. The first was 2 years ago following Moderna.

The only things I can see are current and past medications going back to 2005 and my

I have been advised by Rheumatology to pause my MTX for two weeks following
vaccination
. Does anyone know whether it is ok to have the
vaccination
soon after taking the medication?

PMR & COVID Vaccine Link?
Our objective is not to refute the importance of vaccines, but to raise awareness about the potential risks of COVID-19
vaccination
. In fact, we believe that the benefits of
vaccination
far outweigh the possible risks and encourage people to get vaccinated.
