I’m flabbergasted by your responses and very grateful for your interest and willingness to share your experiences it’s been a long journey I’m hoping that the vaccine will work out of my body asap and I can finally have some relief from the Afib and ectopics

I’m having a cyroballoon ablation in January

Thanks again to all of you

How is that? I thought the responses Pro/Con vaccine were predictably split.

No doubt the vaccine can trigger afib with many. But no doubt, so can Covid also trigger afib.

Personally if I had a choice between an a fib episode and a bad case of Covid, I'd take the afib episode any day.

Some of you have been lucky and have had very mild cases of Covid. That is not true for many. It was not true for me.

But had I not had the vaccine it might've been a lot worse. Not opinion but evidenced based per studies.

LOL. Sorry. These Covid/Vaccine threads can be divisive at times. I'm glad the responses helped and supported your concerns.

Jim, I am no expert on Covid or C-jabs as I have had neither. However, what I have read is having the vaccine can make some more susceptible to contracting Covid. It is a weird world at present when you get conflicting views from well qualified doctors on something as important as health. I hope 2024 brings more clarity 🙏🏻!

People forget how bad the first wave and the delta wave of January 2021 were. I knew someone who died in 2020, who was not old and who had no underlying health conditions. My decisions are informed by that rather sobering reality, not by watching videos on the internet etc. I fear that complacency, particularly in the older and/or more vulnerable population, is very risky.
