COVID: The three barriers that stop people being vaccinated
Getting everyone in a country vaccinated is like watching software updates load: it whizzes along for the first 80% or so and then seems to take forever to finish the rest. Around 80% of the UK adult population has received at least one dose of the vaccine. To fully vaccinate all adults is going to

proactive GP to inform of diminished vaccine response
I have two papers in front of me, the preprint of the Birminham trials https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3845994 and an earlier paper first authored by Adrian Hayday on the relative immune efficacy of BNT162b2 for CLL patients and controls. Both report a significant decrease in response

COVID after vaccination
Got 2 shots of Pfizer. Last one on March 30th. 3 days ago have been tested positive for the COVID. Getting now the infusion of bamlanivimab. It says that the infusion may interfere with my vaccines. Do I need to get re-vaccinated? Everyone there please be careful. Vaccines are not protecting u 100%

Heart meds and vaccination
I am worried. Astra Zeneca jab booked tomorrow, No one is saying whether my meds for Atrial Fibrillation and High blood pressure, plus blood thinners are an advantage to the blood clot risk or not? I am over 65..My doctor is not knowledgeable and I live in France

Covid Vaccination and TTC
It also states that if you've had your first
vaccination
and think you could be pregnant, or are pregnant you should delay having your second dose until after.

Thrombophilia and covid vaccination
My age group (50) is soon coming up as eligible for the covid
vaccination
, so I am starting to get anxious after recent news reports, as to whether the AZ vaccine is safe.

COVID antibody results
Hello everyone! Just received my Covid antibody test results and after having COVID in 2020 and being fully vaccinated since MAY 13, my results came back negative for antibodies. I’m asking my doctor to submit an order for another test. According to the results it could be a “false negative”. I am

I'm hoping for some reinforcement
Even with
vaccination
, with the variants, it could kill me. The flu a year and a half ago almost did, and I have to be so careful, especially as cases surge here. Attaboys would be helpful. I don't want to perseverate on this and just get madder, but I'm still feeling upset.

Canada: Pfizer, Moderna preferred 2nd dose after AstraZeneca
Canada’s National Advisory Committee on Immunization says it is now recommending people who got the AstraZeneca vaccine first should get Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna for their second shot. On June 1, committee had said AstraZeneca recipients “could" get Pfizer or Moderna for their second shot if they wanted

Advice re stopping meds on week of covid vaccine!
Hi everyone, I would like to know what others have been told to do re "stopping or not stopping medication " when having the covid
vaccination
? As there seems to be no clear guidance on this! I would love to know what others have been advised from Rheumy consultants?

How are you living life with spouses both Vaccinated against Covid but one has a kidney transplant and one is healthy?
I cannot find direct information on this question where I am healthy and vaccinated against Covid19 and my spouse is vaccinated and has a kidney transplant but cannot make antibodies due to being on Cellcept antirejection med mainly. Do I live my life "normal" and he is living restricted like before
