Got 2 shots of Pfizer. Last one on March 30th. 3 days ago have been tested positive for the COVID. Getting now the infusion of bamlanivimab. It says that the infusion may interfere with my vaccines. Do I need to get re-vaccinated?
Everyone there please be careful. Vaccines are not protecting u 100%

Thanks for forwarding this. Unfortunately our testing protocols are not providing any information about which variant of COVID we got. I've actually made this comment to our PCP but he laughed at it...So I will discuss it Monday with Drs again. At this point in time I don't have any serious symptoms (just stuffed head and bronchus)
We got it from our baby grandson who got it from a babysitter.
One other point, our daughter (baby's mother) who is a surgent in hospital and got vaccinated in January, now tested positive as well with similar symptoms as mine.
Makes you wonder about longterm efficacy of the vaccines.
Sorry to hear you got covid just after 2nd shot. Super happy that you got yourself in to get the clonal antibodies!!!!! When you might need a booster shot is a great question and I sure dont know the answer. I look forward to reading some other responses.
Share your procedure for how you got to the infusion chair for antibodies please?
Hi, sorry to hear you have COVID. But it sounds like people are taking care of it fast, etc. -- which is good. If you tested positive 7-8 days after your 2nd vaccination, you may not have had enough time to fully mount an immune response to prevent an infection. I doubt that there is much data on that.
If you tested 3 days ago for COVID, then you must have felt something coming on before that. So possibly 5 days ago? That is more reason you may not have had enough time to mount an immune response (would make time of infection 5-6 days after 2nd vaccination).
I haven't heard of anyone getting booster shots yet. It seems everyone is focused on mass vaccinations. I'm not an MD, so I don't know what their opinion would be. Personally I would try to get one. Then again, I think most people are going to be getting them eventually.
