Study just out about tolerance of COVID-19 vaccines in patients with SLE
https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanrhe/article/PIIS2665-9913(21)00221-6/fulltext Apparently 3% had a medically confirmed flare. Interesting to see the figures involved of people reporting various symptoms after the vaccine. On the whole I was reassured by this, although I've had my 2 doses

Boot Out Covid!
Hi everyone - I'm new to the forums although not the Couch to 5K program. This is not a question, just a quick post about my experience which I hope may give a little inspiration for others. I started Couch to 5K in early 2020 and was progressing well - I've never been a natural runner, but with practice

My state opens (totally) on Monday per revised CDC Guidance
After much internal debate, the medical center will not require verification of
vaccination
for entrance nor a mask for employees, patients, or visitors (the local county has a very high
vaccination
rate of 67+%).

Covid anxiety after vaccination
Hi everyone, this is my first post. I am in my 60's with health anxiety which has gotten so much worse this last year with covid. I mostly stayed home with my husband and didn't interact with others. I am fully vaccinated as of a few days ago but still feel so much fear about going out into the world

Gigi's 2nd Birthday
Gigi celebrated her 2nd Birthday on Saturday! She is working to open one of her presents which by the way was a pink football that she loves. When we first rescued her she had lyme disease and was treated, but at her appoinment last week, she tested positive again with a higher titer. They think she

Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine recipients have lower antibody levels targeting the Delta variant
The results also show that levels of these antibodies are lower with increasing age and that levels decline over time, providing additional evidence in support of plans to deliver a
vaccination
boost to vulnerable people in the Autumn.

vaccination
are excellent news. Especially when you think the studies were done on mainly elderly people or people who had medical conditions making them a priority for

Consistent false positive lateral flow tests for Covid. Anyone else experienced this?
Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and have a unique issue which I am hoping someone out there may have experienced too. I am 33 y/o and have CCP-positive Rheumatoid Arthritis. Fortunately, I am in remission and now only take Hydroxychloroquine but have spent a number of years previously on Methotrexate

Bug bite reaction
If you had a Covid
vaccination
did you also notice any adverse reactions to bug bites. I’m trying to understand why I’m reacting the way I am.

Has there been any research on the relationship of the onset of polymyalgia and COVID vaccines or is it too early?
My polymyalgia developed five weeks after an Astra Zeneca
vaccination
and a friend developed Arteritis with seven weeks of a
vaccination
. She intends to report this via the Yellow Card system. Has there been any suggestion that the vaccine could trigger the immune system?

Question on Health Secretary
I am puzzled as to how the Heath Secretary has Covid 19. He must have been obeying the Rules !!!! Social Distance, Face Mask, Using Gel etc. Twice Vaccinated. So how did he become Positive . THIS IS A GENUINE QUESTION and not POLITICALLY MOTIVATED . I would be really interested in an Explanation

Israel removes cancer patients from third vaccine jab list
The Health Ministry says it is currently not recommending cancer patients receive a third dose of the coronavirus vaccine, after approving the administration of booster shots to the immunocompromised. Citing figures from several hospitals, a ministry statement says around 90% of those undergoing chemotherapy
