Question on Health Secretary

I am puzzled as to how the Heath Secretary has Covid 19.

He must have been obeying the Rules !!!! Social Distance, Face Mask, Using Gel etc. Twice Vaccinated. So how did he become Positive .

THIS IS A GENUINE QUESTION and not POLITICALLY MOTIVATED . I would be really interested in an Explanation.

Have the " Experts " given up on stopping Covid 19 and are now just managing the situation, through Vaccinations to prevent serious illness !!

Nothing is 100% guarantee you won't catch it, even with all the precautions we are still at risk but hopefully the outcome if we catch it won't be so bad.

I think it’s a proactive stance to enable us to reach a good level of herd immunity before winter hits. I remember the very first press conference Vallance & Whitty contextualised the only way to control the spread of COVID was by achieving herd immunity. However, without vaccine protection / restrictions etc the death toll would have been biblical. Consequently , with the increase in vaccine uptake & treatments the aim now seems to achieve that level of immunity. As for the health secretary catching it, I myself was extremely cautious, worked in a mask constantly, SD & wash my hands to an obsessive level but still managed to catch it. In reflection, I can only assume that by living in a densely populated area I was going to get it regardless of the precautionary measures I took.

It seems to be a matter of luck. I wonder if his family have been tested. One of them could have been a symptomless carrier.It's worth remembering that even wearing a mask is not complete protection, especially if those around you are not wearing one.
