Hey guys. Glad to find this group. 81 years old- Diagnosed 7 years ago with a Gleason 9 The Onc's finally scared me into having a radical but I refused to let them take my nerves. They told me I would be gone in 5 yrs. In retrospect wish I hadn't had the radical. Info and options were very hard to come by back then. Kept researching and seeking more natural solutions. I'm in Texas and had to go to Arizona later for IPT chemo and radiation. Worked but the beast bounced back. Dendretic Cell therapy (DC) had been approved in the US for several years but none of the oleopathic doctors would even discuss it and refused to consider doing it. I had to go to Tijuana to get it and they sent me home with a series of vaccine shots I gave myself for like 3 months. That worked well and my psa dropped back in the low single digits. Later started rising again. I had been taking Colostrum (mothers milk) for over 40 years for my general health which was very good. I was the healthiest guy for my age I knew. Never got sick. Since colostrum is nature's very first food for any mammal and had been known a long time for its immune boosting abilities, I decided to quadruple my normal dose for a while. I also went to 45 drops of 5000mg CBD daily. In less than a month my psa dropped to <1 !! That was with no other changes. Shortly it was down to .02. Last month I saw a slight rise. But because of a slight change in the testing method not sure what to think of that. I had been slacking off of the Colo and CBD. I returned to the high dosages and will have a new psa this next week.

I continue to research - research - research. The US doctors have done their best to put down naturopathic possibilities. But good things will always rise to the top and especially now with the internet the truth is coming out. Dendretic Cell therapy is now being offered by more and more alternative "clinics" in the US which helps with the cost which is still OOP. In Dallas there are suddenly 5 clinics doing it. Of course the elite doctors can't make the big bucks from it the way they can with all the much higher priced stuff. It has been in use quite successfully outside the US for a long time.

I am very encouraged to see what appears to be a recent breakout of really good treatment options that have been held back by big pharma, the insurance companies, and the doctors. I expect the new gene therapies are going to result in the "Final Solution" for most all cancers very soon. But I also fully expect the medical consortium to do everything possible to quash any such progress. It will simply cost them too much money, make their expensive and lengthy education largely useless, and make most of their investments in their practices and medical equipment obsolete. Picture a $10M DaVinci surgical robot sitting in the corner gathering dust .

I also think that PSMA based therapies are very promising. Just have to get the doctors on board. Only way that will happen is if it is very expensive.

For my own health I will take Colostrum and CBD till the day I'm "Toes Up". But I also do a lot of other supplements. I save a lot by buying "bulk supplements" and it helps cut down the number of pills. I mix the powders in a smoothy with sugar free almond milk in a blender.

I'll soon be 82. I am what is referred to as a "one percenter" in that 99% of all people born before 1946 are already dead. I still own and operate a business I built 52 years ago and people frequently tell me I look like I'm in my early 60's. Thru constant Kegel exercises I have regained 98% of my bladder control and I am recently having success getting back to my previous sexual prowess. My younger gurl friend is really tickled about that.

I urge all prostate patients to take personal charge of your own health and treatment. Be proactive. Medical doctors have a roll to play in our considerations and actions. But they are plagued by factors that are not always in our best interest. Beware and be aware. And take it slow. Few prostate cancers move so fast that things have to be done "immediately" as I was told in the beginning. The doctors making the big bucks will do everything they can to scare you to death. I’m rooting for you TBill! I am doing very similar, but not quite the same supplements and drugs that you are. My story is a little different, but I agree with everything that you said about big Pharma. There’s a few guys on this blog that will beat guys up like us for bucking the system. That’s OK, I t’s a free speech blog if we stay within certain guidelines, I’ve been slapped on the wrist a couple times. I’m learning what I can and cannot say. Stay the course, I like your style! You can say what you wish on this site....... It's because some don't agree with you doesn't mean you've been slapped on the wrist. Different opinions are opinions and not written in stone....Don't be so thin skinned and always speak out.....But be courteous and civil to members...Keep Posting as if you were speaking to you wife...... well never mind that and keep talking like you're having drinks in your favorite tavern.....with your acquaintances....

You just made it up so build your point on.Big Pharma is a moniker used by those that hate profits and never try to understand financials like accounting and profit/loss practices.

Theories need testing those tests need to be Blind test. The Blind tests need to be duplicated. Then FDA verified.
