Help with my results please?
Hello, Firstly thank you for taking the time to read this. I would really appreciate any thoughts on my rather extensive set of numbers! I apologise for the headache but it seemed important to include all as they are really quite variable. I’ve had a history of tiredness for a few years now starting

High Calcium, low vitamin D - Endometriosis link?
hello! I’ve got diagnosed endometriosis and have had a recent flare up - massive clots, flooding etc I’ve been to the GP and have had routine blood tests and they’ve found I have low vitamin D, high calcium and a raised Parathyroid level. I know thyroids affect hormone levels and so I’m wondering

Don't know what else to do..!
Hi all,.I feel so lost and can't think of anything else to do.. I feel so ill, flu like symptoms, heavy head really struggling to get out of bed. I've had these issues on and off for years but recently just feels more frequent. I used to take tiromel then switched to thyroid-s, was doing better

adrenal testing on the nhs?
is it worth trying? or are they going to only check for complete adrenal failure if i asked them? i have a feeling they will probably test what i ask since i've never had problems regarding specific tests before, but i would really just like to know what i should be checking. i'm losing LOTS of hair

Knee surgery
Hey guys! I am facing total knee replacement surgery (robotics) next month. I will be in the hospital overnight one night. I remember seeing a list in this forum of things to remember to look out for; i.e., nausea medicine the anesthesiologist might use, what I need to tell the doctor or nurses at

Steroids
My friend is on 65mg of pred. steroids. I read that he needs a low salt and low fat diet. Also he needs to eat foods with potassium and he should take Vitamin D. Should he speak to his GP even though the steroids are being managed by his neurologist? Or should he buy over the counter Vitamin D etc?

hypothyroidism ?
I’ve not felt myself for awhile . Heavy more frequent periods , tiredness , not losing weight all of a sudden ( when I had bariatric surgery ). Had private blood tests which showed higher than normal levels of prolactin and low folate levels . Vitamin D was fine probably because I’m taking high strength

Am I being stupid by delaying treatment for mild hyperthyroidism when I don't have any symptons?
Very many thanks to all who responded and maybe I am being stupid as most idd recommend the use of carbimazole. There was however comments from some who had adverse effects, and as I have no symptoms at present, my concern at my age (72) is to remain active now, bearing in mind my husband's health
