Blood test results
My daughter recently had some blood tests done due to tiredness and dry skin. Her ferritin is low and her TSH isn’t ideal. Her vitamin D was poor. Her ferritin was 23 (30-200). I have in my head that other bloods should be done to confirm iron tablets are required. The gp has prescribed iron tablets

Private blood test results
Hi everyone. Following my previous post, I've had some private blood tests done and here are the results.I'm on 150mg of Levo a day. My result is after the ':' on each entry and the reference ranges are after the '/'. It looks like the Serum Folate and Ferritin tests didn't work. I'm guessing you have

Why you should NOT supplement high-dose D3
https://youtu.be/GsomcvdT7Po This random video I came across deserves more views. If you're baffled about how to get enough vitamin D when not exposed to regular sunlight, try supplementing raw cold-pressed cod liver oil instead along with vitamin K. https://www.westonaprice.org/health-topics/cod-liver-oil

Calcium and Vitamin D
I have vitamin D deficiency. The calcium + Vit D tablets prescribed by GP either upset my stomach (dissolvable) or non dissolvable ( chewable ! ) aggravate my gums. Can anyone please recommend alternatives that aren't hugely difficult to swallow ? Also what mg is recommended. I'm aware that perhaps

Vitamin D
This morning I bought a pack of mushrooms, and as it was a sunny day, I put them outside to sunbathe. No - I’m not going crazy! Did anyone else listen to Tim Spector’s recent radio interview ( part of the Zoe Health Study) about research which shows mushrooms are like humans and can generate their own

High Vitamin D level
Hi all. I am still waiting to get into the Hematologist for an assessment Meanwhile had my cytometry drawn today. Meanwhile, my vitamin D -25 has come back quite high. 80. This has me quite concerned. Just wondering if others have had same.

worried about Anti D!!
Hey everyone, I’m 20 weeks pregnant and been told I’ll need Anti D at 28 weeks. I cut my finger tonight whilst slicing vegetables and did the silly thing of sucking my finger, and I’m just wondering if I need to contact the out of hours midwives to get my Anti D early. I know this probably sounds absolutely

Vitamin test results
Hi All I was wondering if I could have some advice on my vitamin test results. I had the test done through Monitor my Health, so no ranges are given, just a graph. I can't access the graphs if I login to MMH on my mobile, and can't work out how to copy the graph on my laptop so I can share it here

Horrific night sweats.
I know some of you knowledgeable people will be able to give me some advice about how to help with the horrific night sweats I am having. This is fairly longstanding (17years), since I was about 50, now 67 but recently I have suffered long bouts of them. Currently, have had them for 47 nights in a row

Recent research report
one section of a recent research report covered CLL and it included several topics including the favorable results of vitamin D. Now I can’t find the research. Anybody familiar with that report?

Vitamin D results are in - I'm worried
Dear Community I recently had some bloods done but the Vit D results have only just been updated onto my NHS App. I thought perhaps the lab had not undertaken the analysis. I am worried because one of these is right at the bottom of the range. Please may ask your advice in helping me to understand

Vitamin A,D,E,K deficiency..
After gall bladder surgery my Doctors in India recommended no vitamin supplements . Read somewhere about possible fat soluble Vitamin deficiency after gall bladder removal. Is it safe to take Vitamin D with Vit K2 as MK7 as a supplement ?. Is it true that Vitamin D , if taken alone would cause Calcium
