Hyperplasia?
Hi. Did anyone have Hyperplasia ruled out first before Endometriosis was diagnosed? Or the suggestion it was Hyperplasia before Endometriosis?

So I’m currently 8 weeks now and fast running out of my meds. I’m on progynova 4 a day, Cyclogest 2 a day and prontogest every 3 days. What I’m unsure about is when to stop taking them? I have enough prontogest to last til January.... Cyclogest to last me for the next 3 weeks and progynova to take me

Nerve pain legs & feet
Hello, I’ve tried Gabapentin and wasn’t able to tolerate it. Currently I’m on 10 mg of amitriptyline, but doesn’t do much but give me a good night’s sleep (20 mg leaves me groggy all day) I’ve searched this site for posts but can’t find the one about suggestions for brands of creams I can try to relieve

Sleep aid that seems to be working
Like a lot of us with a head injury, I suffer from sleep problems. I doze off intermittently at random times during the day and then at night time. I only have a few hours sleep. Over the years, I have tried all the usual advice - no drinks late at night, reduce "screen" time, dark room, cold room,

Sleep apnea?
So it seems like when a person thinks they have RLS and goes to doctor to rule in or out, that they are told to have a sleep study...I guess saying that sleep apnea could be the reason for RLS. I was told the same thing recently but haven't had the sleep study yet. My question is: For those who have

Question. Has anyone with PCS or other BI been diagnosed with Narcolepsy.
Hi I have brought up the subject of having 'fantastical imagery' with my psychologist at the brain injury unit and just get a wide eyed stare in return, it seems to say she is suggesting 'don't go there'. I have wondered about this and have read that similar experiences (mad visions) come under neuro-psychosis

HELP with getting sleep!
HELP! My DH isn't sleeping well at all. He's tried Natrol 10mg Melatonin and it wasn't that great. I then got Natrol Melatonin Advance Sleep 10mg Melatonin (it's a 2 layer time release to help fall asleep quickly, then the inner layer helps you sleep through the night), sounded good, but it was worse

Cholera Vaccine-HELP
After reading the study about cholera vaccine (see link below), I’ve decided to get It. I’m aware it’s a retrospective study but it makes logical sense to me, and The statistics for survival are so overwhelming and the risks appear to be minimal, that it seems like a good risk reward scenario. So how

Questions about OIC
Hi everyone. I have had excellent luck for the past seven months with being on 150mg of Tramadol and 600mg of horizant. This combination seems to work very well for me. I have had absolutely no RLS for the past 7 months. Been able to sleep well every night. And sometimes even take a nap. My problem

Careers / jobs that suit people who have Parkinson's disease ?
Looking for suggestions. Good paying jobs that don't require a great deal of manual dexterity, writing, or psychological stress? My current job is getting harder to do. Castlemans disease with ITP
Has anyone with ITP been diagnosed with Castlemans disease? My 18 year old daughter, who has had ITP for two years now, had an enlarged lymph node taken out. It came back as Castlemans disease...which sometimes causes ITP. Had anyone experienced this?

The last time I saw my Asthma Consultant, he suggested that I do a Sleep test, So I did the first test and got a letter from the hospital telling me that I had to go and pick up a CPAP machine, then I got a letter from a Consultant who I never met telling me I have Sleep Apnea. So I went and picked

Pergolide
I was taking pergolide for Restless Legs for about 15 years plus and it was effective. It was a joy after the misery of years of RLS. However, six years ago the GP and neurologist both decide to stop prescribing the drug as recent research revealed in certain cases it might affect the heart valves

Can you help me put together a program to make it bearable?
Can you help me put together a program to make it bearable? Hi, I've had IPF for 7 years with sleep apnea and A-Fib as comorbidities. Over the last few weeks, it seems that Fibromyalgia is to be added to the list. It's hit me like a bombshell.

Rytary and Bydureon updates
I have posted about this in the past six months and wanted to give an update. I started Rytary about 6 months ago and struggled to find a way to control my symptoms. It is a slow acting form of Carbidopa and Levodopa that is a controlled release capsule. I said “slow acting” because it takes a while

Increasing dosage of Nebivolol
Hi - I'm on a dosage of 5mg of Nebivolol (2.5 mg in the AM & 2.5mg in the PM) for my atrial tachycardia. I have been getting a few runs of fast heartbeats and palpitations that don't turn into a full blown episode around 2 or 3 AM in the morning. Should I ask to increase the evening dosage to address
