Flu jab
Yesterday I went to volunteer at our hospice shop and all the staff had been to the next door chemist to have their flu jab. So I went as well. Woke up at 2am this morning aching all over with a headache. Even paracetamol didn't help. I feel awful. I am doing a slow reduction from 6.5 to 6 and after

Best Inhaler for Chronic Bronchitis
Hi all, Heading to the doctor this week, tried Brimica a few weeks back and we didn’t hit it off. The anxiety and tremors were off the chart. I’m considering asking for the Fostair small molecule inhaler as I have a slight asthma component. It also contains Beclomethasone which agrees with me. Pulmicort

cough
I think that I have a cough now that is chronic. Maybe it is inflammation in the lungs from my RA. I try not to cough but sometimes I just have to and everyone scatters in fear of covid. Anyone else desperately trying not to cough?

Flu jab and AF
I’ve not been in AF since last March but within an hour of having the new flu jab today I was in AF and have been all day. Has anybody else experienced this?

Hey all, like the sign says, has anyone received Shingrex while on Acala? I need to get it and my GP and Oncologist says to get it. Just wondering what reactions I should look out for after the crap I went through with my 3rd Phizer. I never had reactions to vaccines before but puttin 2 and 2 together

The Flu
Has anyone had an experience with not being able to get rid of a horrific cough after having the Flu which kicks Asthma attacks. The doctor tells me this cough last up to six months. I am already on Fostair, Salbutamol, Montaclutast, Piriton nasal spray, Omeprazole and Gaviscon. I am feeling rather low

Flu Vaccine
OH and I both had flu jab yesterday - went in the chemist for antihistamine and came out with sore arms. I don’t know whether it is just this year’s vaccine or whether we have not been exposed to enough germs during lockdown but within a few hours I ached all over. This morning I have a flare and David

How did you get here? What caused your COPD, ACOS, Bronchiectasis or whatever?
I saw this thread running on another forum and thought it was interesting. For me I had mild asthma as a child, I also had bronchiolitis, scarlet fever and the odd asthma attack up to the age of about 6. I have a strong familial connection to respiratory illness with no Alpha One. I foolishly smoked

flu jab and poss covid booster
I've just been offered one and expect they'll offer a booster covid when available. mine was pfizer. Never had flu in my life save on one occasion and rarely get colds. Always relied on being fit and having a good immune system. Therefore never had a flu jab. I'm 70. Any advice please.

Should you run with a cold?
Hey, i’ve got a cold (confirmed it’s not covid) should I wait until i’m back to full health before doing another run?? I should be doing W4R3 today, loathed to miss doing it because it’ll set me back, but not sure i’d make progress if I tried it🥺

Post ICU cough
Following 16 days in ICU and HDU, I was ventilated a year ago but still have a cough. I have been referred to ENT but a 6 month wait. Have others had this issue and do you have tips to help me?

Pain after sex
Beginning of mine and my boyfriends relationship sex was completely fine nothing wrong it was all good. I got the implant in and I everything was fine I had/have irregular bleeding but I suspected that. But when we had sex I would bleed afterwards and at night be in some vaginal discomfort. I decided

Constant problems
I too have these jelly like balls. I cough up every morning. These fits of wheezing and coughing up a lot of it comes and goes. But every day since I got pneumonia, I've been coughing these up. Always white in color. Never alarming smell or color. Did a pulmonary function test and they told me they didn't

Breast implant illness and lung/breathing problems
Hello, I am new here. I am so glad I stumbled onto this group! About 5 years ago I noticed I was short of breathe going up stairs and at the same time my stomach would bloat to make me look about 6 months pregnant. It was like the air that was supposed to go into my lungs was going to my stomach. Then

Doubling of absolute Lymphoctes
It has been 11 months now since I was diagnosed with CLL. Thereafter I have been tracking my WBC and Lymphocytes . The trend curve over a year is in the attached picture. I was also taking green tea extract , curcumin , vitamin C and D since being diagnosed. Until now did not experience any B symptoms

Feel terrible
Does everyone else with chronic bronchitis feel terrible all the time or is it just me? Dry, bad taste in mouth all the time(I don’t use inhalers), headaches that don’t go away. Chest discomfort off and on, a jittery malaise like feeling all the time, and my throat feels tight or full. This is terrible

Flu and pneumonia vax
Would recommend having but leave a week apart. I had mine at the same time and had a nasty infection within days. Later my GP said should have had s gap as it was too much all in one go for me.
