Ginseng and daytime brain fog (aka sleepiness) for those on Lupron + Abi + Prednisone

For some months getting gradually worse I've been having intense sleepiness when sitting and trying to read, watch TV, etc.

What is the community's experience with Korean Panax Ginseng? It is working well for me today (the first day I started taking it.)

Thanks

I’ve not tried Korean ginseng but I do take American ginseng for ADT related fatigue and it’s worked well.

I've been using a Wisconsin ginseng tea for about 4 years ever since a speaker at the PCRI conference (Dr Moyaad) in fall of 2018 spoke about it - I was having memory and brain fog problems on Lupron and ABI, and when he told us about it I immediately took out my phone and ordered some on Amazon before I forgot! I drink a cup every day, I'm not crazy about the taste but I put one tea bag of ginseng and one of green tea and it tastes pretty good (sometimes I add honey). I get mine now in San Francisco's Chinatown - just about every Chinese grocery market has a shelf full of the bright red boxes with the brand name 'Prince of Peace ' - I believe the company is owned by a Chinese family who left there for religious reasons.

So yeah, I recommend Panax tea, and the best is grown in Wisconsin and Korea (I drink the Wisconsin sourced, I think they have soil similar to Korea). You can get it at Amazon and Costco online

I tried researching Dr Moyaad and his thoughts in Ginseng could you tell me what he said, did he mention the rise of testosterone whilst using ginseng?

For whatever it's worth I've used Ginseng 1/day for months and my monthly PSA and T #'s are both undetectable. My MO is not concerned -- and you must run supplement ideas by your MO first.

I have tried other types of Ginseng & found the Korean had the best effect for me. The red panax is stronger than most so I take it every other day to help energy levels while on ADT & the endless fatigue associated with it.

I read Ginseng promotes the raise of testosterone would that not be defeating the object, it would therefore be producing more pc cells. I am confused as l have purchased this for my husband to help with the fatigue related to adt therapy and am perturbed on whether this is detrimental. Does anyone have any solid clinical backup.
