Chances of IVF working at 43
Does anyone have any success stories of IVF working with own eggs at age 43? My clinic have told me that the odds are very low for me as my eggs are probably too old but no tests have been conducted to check the quality of my eggs. I have however had 3 natural miscarriages and 1 failed IVF cycle.

After help for a friend, only able to do natural transfers due to migraine?
You all helped me so much when I was on my fertility journey I was hoping you had some information to help my friend. When she was on a contraceptive pill she had to be on progesterone only as she'd previously had a migraine (only 1 or 2 in her lifetime). A couple of months ago she had an EC and transfer

Mild IVF treatment
Hi all, I just wanted to ask if anyone has undergone mild IVF treatment and what are the sucsess rates in comparison to conventional IVF? This protocol was suggested to me by the hospital as I suffered from OHSS during my first treatment, but from what I was told it, may result in less eggs being retrieved

Been crying at the drop of a hat - are my hormones messed up from the (failed) ivf rounds?
There is a lot going on, so alongside the three rounds of ivf that haven't worked it might be that I am crying so easily because my life feels like a nightmare, but I don't normally cry this easily. Has anyone else found they cry a lot more than normal as a result of going through the whole rigmarole

What do you do to keep a sense of purpose and fulfilment in life whilst desperately waiting for a baby?
I'm aware many people on here will have been trying to bring home a baby longer than I have, and would love their advice. I'm currently looking at my diary and feeling sad that I can't start IVF for another few months due to delays in my local area, and I recognise based on the experience of others

Go with ERA timings or standard timings?
Hello Would welcome any thoughts. I had an ERA done in February this year (2023) which indicated I was pre-receptive. So I needed an extra 27 hours of progesterone before my transfer. We applied these timings in July with a PGTA tested embryo. On that cycle we also used immune medications and blood

About pregnacare max supplement
Hi ladies, hope all of you are doing well. I am 5 weeks now. I am going through fertility medication for IVF. I started to take supplements pregnacare max after discussing with pharmacist. She suggested it will be best for pregnancy. However, i found in the literature that it will impact with blood thinner

Am I testing too early?
On 17th December we transferred 2 embryos. The nurse told us to test on 26th, which I’ve done and it’s negative :( they have only prescribed me enough progesterone till today, but does anyone think this is too early to be testing? Suppose I’m looking for a little hope. This was my first IVF, following

TW Stillbirth after fertility struggles.
Hi. I’m not sure why I’m posting here. I guess I’m looking for some support or positive stories after still birth. This is quite a sad post so please scroll if it’s not what you need right now. Our journey has been a tough one. After convincing 3 times naturally (2 chemicals and 1 miscarriage), it

Never ending period after the failed transfer
Hi everyone, My latest embryo transfer (was done 7 December) also failed. My period started 4 days later than the expected date. I learned that it was normal because of the progesteron injections. However now it is the 8th day of my period and it is only increasing its thickness and frequency. Normally

melatonin day 5
hey - merry Christmas everyone. Hoping everyone manages to find some serenity! Does anyone have any idea why melatonin is recommended to be taken on day 5 specifically on the period before ivf? I have a short period (2-3 days 4 at most and a 25 day cycle) wondering if I should take it slightly earlier

Merry Xmas fellow IVF warriors
Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Xmas. Whatever stage you are at with your journey I hope you can enjoy at least some of this season. I’ve been feeling ok and almost positive but tonight it’s just hit me like a ton of bricks. After 5 failed transfers in the past year I’ll be glad to see the back

Advice on additional testing…
Hi everyone. On Monday we found out that our 3rd and final frozen embryo cycle had failed. We’ve had 1 failed fresh which ended in miscarriage at 10 weeks, 1 chemical pregnancy from FET and one straight up fail. We get another free round on the NHS but I’m reluctant to go again until I’ve tried a few

Trying for sibling - same plan didn’t work, miscarriage again!
As we still have 2 PGS tested embryos on freeze, we would like to try a sibling for our son. I followed the same plans that I had my son - same doctors, same immunology treatment plan. I had positive pregnancy test 2 weeks after transfer, I thought it would be ok this time as we already had a successful

early scan qn?
hi all. I’ve just completed ivf and am just over 5 weeks. I’ve a scan booked in with my clinic when I’ll be about 7 weeks, however I’d really like to get one at 6 weeks as I’ve previously had an ectopic miscarriage and am anxious to see if this one is in the right spot. I’ve tried to book one for
