hi everyone , I know this is an unusual case . I have had 4 c sections with my naturally conceived children however I am having to go down the ivf route now as initially my husbands sperm count was low however now it isn’t and I’m just not getting pregnant . Our first ivf fresh cycle failed and I’m at a loss with what to do next . My uterus appears normal however I am worried I am not implanting due to possible issues with my previous c sections . The clinic just want to keep transferring however I really want to check it’s not me that’s the issue . Does anyone have any advice ? I know I am incredibly lucky to have my 4 from a previous relationship x

I know that some women have ‘asherman’s’ Syndrome (to do with scar tissue) from previous c-sections which can make it harder to get or stay pregnant again. To check and clear this if you have it would be to have an hysteroscopy. I had this via my fertility clinic for different reasons so perhaps look into this?

Thank you for your reply , I called the clinic and they said from my scan initially it showed absolutely no indication of any abnormality and to stop googling 😂 x

I would ask for a saline scan as this would open your flattened uterus so they can have a proper look at the surface. I had may internal scan and it was only after i had a saline scan that they picked up the polyp which can affect implantation. I had a hysteroscoy with polyectomy to remove.

so your initial baseline scan showed no abnormality’s ? The nurse said that the transvaginal scan would have picked up something it’s so hard to know what to do x
